Last year a pair of glasses that I had not purchased their head broken. I called them asking them if they knew where I could get them fixed. They gladly told me to come in and they would take care of me. When I went in they fixed my glasses and would not let me pay for the simple repair I was elated at how kind They were. So that leads me to this review today. Because of their amazing service last year I went there today to look for new glasses and contacts. I was greeted with a warm smile from two very nice ladies at the front counter and they welcomed to any of my questions. I was a little indecisive at first, but then got to thinking they took care of me last year so Im going to give my business to this company that did such a good job for me last year. Mika was the gentleman that showed me the new frames and told The lenses as well as what my insurance covered. I went back later on and made the purchase for my glasses but was still a little indecisive on the contacts. I went out to my car and thought about the convenience of just ordering them there or going to another place to look for a better price. In the long run the other place Lost the battle I went back to the front door, and found that it was locked that it was after the closing hours. Again they amaze me and gladly open the door and allowed me to purchase my contacts from them. I will return to this location because of the amazing service I received from them. Having spoken to my mom shortly after this took place she said thats the only place my father went to. Being in retail sales myself I believe and customer loyalty and this Fraser Optical location has received my loyalty. Thank you to Mika and staff for all of your amazing help. I had the worst customer service of my life there. I had three different eye exams with two different doctors and none of them were correct. I went to a different eye doc and they were able to get my glasses perfect in one try. The office manager is very rude and yelled at me in front of other customers when I said I needed my money back for my glasses and exams after the third try. She actually stood over me and screamed at me! I had to deal with their main office in Fraser and even that was difficult. They eventually gave me my money back for the glasses but they refused to credit my insurance for the eye exam because it was a "professional service" but this was the least professional service I have ever seen. The doctor was rude during the exam and all three times they could not get my prescription right. When I called to try to talk to them about my problems the person I needed was always out of the office and I had to try repeatedly to get in touch with her. Also the employees gave me fake names over the phone because when I reported who took my message to the manager she insisted that person didnt work there. Clearly someone was lying to me. They do not know the meaning of customer service and their doctors are completely incompetent. Avoid them. There are much better eye doctors in the area who will treat you kindly and get your glasses right the first time.

OMG! Never been somewhere so Imcompetent I cannot get an eye exam. Told them I pay for exam and I send in form for reinbursement. First attempt they said I had wrong form (only one from employer) and to give them SS number to look up reinbursement and come back another day. Second attempt they said I had same wrong form and did not even listen to what I said, you know how you can tell when they blurt out something the minute you quit talking, right? Office manager told me to calm down, so she has had not customer service training since I know that is the LAST thing to tell an upset customer. Summary - inattentive to detail - unwilling to listen to customer - unprofessional staff.

The short man with glasses in sales has to be the rudest man on earth. He deserves to be fired. AVOID THIS PLACE THIS IS THE WORT EYE DOC OFFICE IN MI. Worst eye doctor in MI as well. Rudest staff on earth, but the short man with the glasses DESERVES TO BE FIRED ASAP. Never knew a grown man could have such little respect for human beings. Disrespectful, and money-hungy SCUMBAG racist. Yes, he was racist towards me. Praying that this place finds some real staff members who actually care. I wasnt able to afford a $79 pair of glasses because Im currently applying for jobs but the service I received anyways was very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. A lady greeted me when I walked in the store right away with a big smile and eager to help. She went out of her way to help with the measurements of my Pupillary Distance and search for a potential frame to fit my broken glasses without charging me a dime. If youre seaching for friendly staff and Name Brand Specs i think this is a great place.

Super happy with the exam and glasses I got here. Took about an hour to get the exam and frame selection done. The staff was quick to call me as soon as they came back from the lab. The new glasses were nicely fitted by the optician when I picked them up. A small change in the prescription seem to help out quite a bit for stuff up close. Glasses take about a week.Very pleased with the friendly service and affordable prices.

This place is a scam. Avoid at all costs, I have been wearing glasses and contacts for over 10 years and have never experienced such bad service. Also I am never compelled to write reviews about anything good or bad but I had to warn people with this one. Save your money and STAY AWAY! Seriously.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Called at 7:30 said they were open til 8 and could adjust my glasses, pulled in at 7:45 doors were locked. When i banged on the door the girl sat there and ignored me! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. I HAVE SPENT TOO MUCH MONEY THERE TO RECEIVE SUCH POOR SERVICE!!

The Doctor and the staff did an amazing job working with my two kids who needed glasses and contact lenses. Was very pleased to see the amount of time and effort they took with getting my daughter fitted with contact lenses for the first time. She loves them!! Nice job guys!
