Im new to the area and needed to find a vet quickly as one of my cats seemed to have gotten some kind of infection on his chin. Both of my cats needed shots, too, so at 10 AM on a Saturday morning, I called Bush Lake to see if I could get an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and I got an appointment at 11:45 AM the same day. He gave both cats a physical examination and shots, then took one look at my cats infection and immediately diagnosed feline acne (who knew?). He cleaned my cats chin with hydrogen peroxide and administered an oral antiobotic. I asked him to check the ears, too, since my cat has really been digging at them, so the doctor took a swab and ran a quick lab and found some kind of fungal infection. He then administered ear drops, all the while giving me instruction on how to repeat it at home. He also recommended that I switch from Iams to Science Diet for male cats because of the magnesium content (and it didnt feel like an up-sell, just advice). Another recommendation was to pick up some benzol hydroxide gel for the acne. The office is small, with only two exam rooms, and is located in a strip mall that is very easy to get to and a convenient location. The doctor was very gentle and had a good sense of humor. He was knowledgeable but not patronizing and hes very personable. The total bill for 2 exams, 4 shots, 2 prescriptions, and lab work was $250, which I thought was very reasonable. I am very happy to have found this place and would recommend it to everyone.

I was having a lot of difficulty finding a local veterinarian. There is a huge clinic near me that didnt want to go to because I have had issues there before. I then tried Wolff animal hospital and had a terrible experience there. I finally received a recommendation to try Bush Lake Pet Hospital and I am thrilled! My dog was limping progressively worse. He is very young and a very expensive dog. He was misdiagnosed at Wolff - and their solution not only made him worse, it could have permanently damaged him. After following the doctors advice and giving his medicine, Darwin was happy and pain free within a week. I am so grateful. He has earned my trust. By the way, I believe his prices are very reasonable. He is a direct, honest person. If you need someone to talk all cutesy to your animal, or you need the ultra-modern slick office you will probably need to go elsewhere. But if you want honest and competent care - this is your place!

Had an emergency with my dog, they got him within an hour from calling. We were in and out in 15 min , with a diagnosis and a prescription. The doctor was straight forward , funny and sweet to my dog who was in pain. Very reasonably priced and great staff! I highly recommend!
