We will never go back here, even though its within walking distance from our house. When we first got our puppy, we started taking her to VCA and thought at first they just had a couple of "off" days with office staff. We would consistently be shown to a room, examined by the vet tech, and then be made to wait 15-30 minutes for the vet! Nobody came to check on us and nobody even apologized. We stopped going. Recently because of a time crunch we took our puppy back to VCA to look at an infection around her mouth. Once again, we had to wait 30 MINUTES for the vet! This time I really complained and after talking on the phone with the office manager who informed me they would not charge me for the visit, was I surprised when the bill showed up in the mail! I called VCA to talk to the office manager who very coldly told me she recalled not such conversation, but did discount our bill as a courtesy. I was ready to tell her where she could stick that courtesy but I figured social media would be more effective. Do NOT take your pets here, there are so many other wonderful options. They dont care about you or your pet, youre just a source of revenue.

Defiantly dont waste your time. Rudely waited over two hours due to a "Animal Emergency" which I completely understood. Was praised on how I handled the situation. And was told my patients would be noted in our chart. Guess not. Was rushed out without properly being shown how to give medications. Wanted to do full blood work up and lucemia testing. Wasnt offered the time. Waited over 45 minutes to be seen, so cutting our appointment short is unreal. My animals were not given the extent of care deserved. Go in again. Was told not to worry about a fecal sample so... I didnt? Was almost bashed and ambushed by the vet because I didnt want to continue on, on a check up. Ifit couldnt be completed without this magical poop sample I guess I needed but was never asked to bring. I figured Id come back. Not only Am I dying of a cold but I put my cats needs above my own today to bring her in because Im very concerned. This place is sad. All the girls at the front desk are rude. The vets are great but we defiantly didnt get the greatest level of care.

Ive been bring my dog here maybe the last 3 years for her annual exams. The last visit I went in for because they kept sending me letters and calling saying my dog was due for her vaccinations. OK fine so I brought her in... after an examination they go on to explain "oh good news, shes not due for vaccinations for 3 months so just bring her back then" Wait WHAT? Why are we here then and WHY are you charging me $150? So in 3 months I had to go back and drop another $200 for their "examination" and listen to them try to upsell me on everything we DONT need. I wasnt planning on going back but my dog just got sick after a tick bite and I hadnt found another vet yet. I called and explained her symptoms and they said to bring her right in so, I did. We brought her in only to have them charge us another $150 and say it was too soon to tell if its tick related. This place is an absolute JOKE! They do not care about the well being of any animals, they do what they can to get you in there and charge you arm and a leg. Pet lovers beware.

Ive been going to this location for 9-10 years now. I will ONLY see Dr. Kokes. Shes extremely knowledgeable, and takes care of my pets the way they need to be taken care of. She also is very upfront with you, if theres a chance that something can be treated with an antibiotic instead of surgery, shell have you do the round of antibiotics first. Ive had to try a couple of different vets due to Dr. Kokes being out of town or booked up, and I was very disappointed. They didnt tell me anything I didnt already know, and more often than not, I was treated like an idiot. It doesnt matter where I move in the cities, I will ALWAYS make the trip to see Dr. Kokes. On a side note: Yes, there is often a wait time, but that is due to the fact that they are considered an "Animal Hospital". If someone comes in with an animal emergency, they will get bumped up to top priority to be worked on.

This review is WAY overdue! I took my teacup yorkie here in November of 2014, she was just a year old and had jumped off the bed and hurt her paw. Come to find out she had a clean break. VCA was genuinely concerned about my fur baby and got me in right away. After exams were done they were able to schedule a specialist to come in to repair her leg in the next 2 days. Being only 3lbs, her bones were literally bird bones. The specialist had to put a plate in. All my follow up appointments were great as well. She healed fast and almost two years later now, she tears around the yard with my other yorkie like she never broke her leg. I expected some favoring or arthritis in her leg but nothing, she shows no signs that anything ever happened. Thanks VCA, I definitely trust you with my babies!

I have been using them since 2002 and they have always been absolutely amazing! They treated my dogs like they were my children with a ton of love, patience when they were scared and when it was time to let them go Dr. Kokes was so kind and gentle. She has such a compassionate heart she gives you all the time you need to say goodbye and she explains the process in a way that you understand but in a very gentle and understanding way. I trust them completely with my all my animals! Dr. Kokes even takes such care in our Guinea pigs and talks directly to my daughters which makes them feel pretty important! I highly recommend this place!

20 minutes and still waiting...but at least the girl at the desk grudgingly informed me that "she should be out in a few minutes." Do these people think we have nothing better to do than sit and wait for a bloody half hour in the lobby so we can go sit and wait for another half hour in the exam room? My cat has been confined to a cardboard box for over an hour now. Ive been going here for four years, but I will not be back. Update: doctor (not Kokes) has absolutely no bedside manner, except to tell my cat over and over again that she was cute. What a bizarre place.

We Have been going there and seeing Dr. Kokes for many years with our Rats. She is always pleasant and helpful in helping making decisions on their care. Telling us about cost and outcomes. People have commented on waits. Every office I have been to has waits to see the doctor. We will continue to go as long as we have pets. You always have to find a place that makes you feel welcome they have made us feel this way.
