We have been going to Dr. Judy for over 25 years. She is kind, compassionate, caring, and thorough. We have had MANY health issues with our current dog and Judy has been a great doctor through it all - setting up outside referrals when necessary and supporting us through various treatments. We have also had occasion to work with Dr. Sara. Unlike the other poster, we have had very positive experiences with her. Dr. Sara has always been gentle, caring, and patient with our dog - as well as with me and all of my questions. She seemed genuinely concerned about our pet whenever we have seen her. We have never been rushed through an appointment with anyone and things have been explained to us - when we dont understand, weve asked questions and have never felt like the staff was unwilling or uninterested in helping us. Our dog means the world to us and we wouldnt trust his care to ANY facility that gave us cause for concern. Thankfully, Compassionate Care is a wonderful place filled with people who care about the animals (and people) they serve.

The owner who is also a veterinarian at the clinic I found to be cold and rude as well as some of the vet assistants. We had been going there for over a decade and had seen other veterinarians at the clinic until our favorite left to go more into animal dentistry. When I addressed the owner/veterinarian about it via email she took the time to write a very long email as to explain herself, yet not one true apology. The only person there that I would say was truly good to us that is still there is the owners sister Joyce. The owner is a very skilled vet but definitely could use an attitude adjustment as intelligence only gets you so far in life. I appreciate their work but most of the staff has an attitude that is for the birds! We have given enough of our money to them for over a decade and I couldnt get a sincere apology. If you can handle all the attitude they can definitely take care of your pet just fine.

A friend highly recommended CCAH and now I will do the same, best vet ever! The first interaction we had was with Jonathan and it was quite obvious that he is doing something that he loves. He must see dozens of animals every week but made me feel like my dog was his favorite. Dr. Erickson was fantastic, too. She is a very active listener and did not judge me considering how overweight my dog is. She spent 45min with us, explaining things in great detail, she showed me his x-rays, answered all my questions until I understood, and even advised doing the blood work for his teeth cleaning that day because I’d save $45.00 (they’d have time to send it off-site to a lab). PLUS, twice a year they have deals on tooth cleaning…..waaaat?? Im excited to go back to see them again next month.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. We have been going to Funk/Compassionate Care for over 25 years with 3 dogs. Everything was fine, until last week, when I finally got up enough nerve to call to set up an appt to bring my older dog in for euthanasia. He was diagnosed with cancer in January, so it was no surprise. I was told about the services they offer, and also told that there were 3 openings for saturday, and there should be no problem getting us in on saturday. I assured the receptionist I would call back the next day, and she said no problem. I did call back the next day, and was told, "oh, no, there is no time for you on saturday." I could call back on monday. What???!!! I am bitterly disappointed. And I will never go back there.

Taking care of family pets literally is their family business. My dogs know Dr Judy & she knows them because SHE is their vet, not some random vet on staff at the corporate clinics that are much more commonplace these days. This is the small, personal vet clinic where you will feel comfortable taking youre beloved pet and trusting Dr. Judy and her staff. As if you need more convincing, this is the place that will stay open till 10 after 6 when you get stuck in traffic on your way to get your dogs prescription. We love compassionate care! So will you!

I called them to ask about their exam fee and medication prices. So far their prices are the lowest in the area. The woman I spoke to(Joice? *spelling*) was very informative and reassured me things will be alright with my dog getting bitten by ticks as I removed them pretty intact. I havent even visited them yet but once I need to Im definitely coming here. She really made me feel at ease with her answers and wasnt trying to get me to come in for an exam to make money. Thank you!

Dr. Sara has been my dogs vet since he came home with me as an 8 week old puppy. She takes her time at every appointment and really makes me feel like we are the only thing on her mind the entire time shes in the room. She goes through every option, gets down on the floor with Oliver every time shes in there and has a very overall sweet, calming approach. I cant speak to Dr. Funk or some of the other staff but Dr. Sara has made our choice to go to CCAH a happy one.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place was absolutely ridiculous. We went there with concerns for our dog, since our vet was out for the day. We ended up spending a lot of money for them to tell us, go to a different vet. They did nothing for our dog. The staff who worked there were not friendly at all. Dont waste your money here. There are so many vets who actually care.

The front desk and helpers were all great! But when it came to the vet meeting my dog, she was too aggressive, forceful, rude, and unpleasant! She refused to see my dog when I went in the second time! Then when my father stopped by to help she was extremely rude and argumentative with him. I was very displeased with the vet, and will not be going here anymore.

Have been a customer of Compassionate Care and Funk Animal for nearly 40 years and will never take my pets there again! Judy Funk has become rude and short with her clients. They are also one of the more expensive clinics in the area. I guess you pay extra for attitude.

We have used Dr. Judy Funk vet services for the past 25 years and have always been pleased in surgeries, injuries and breeding issues. Dr. Funk has been compassionate and all of our dogs wag there tails when we tell them we are going to "visit the vet"

They take good care of my mothers dog. They send reminders without being annoying, and are always fast about refilling her prescription. The staff is very nice.
