I can not fit into a review all of the reasons that I believe mission animal hospital is hands down the best vet office we have ever been to. Previously we had taken our pets to a big chain vet clinic and always felt like our pets were in an assembly line in a factory. I never knew what great health care or a pleasant atmosphere even was until we ended up at mission. When you make an appointment, that time is yours. They actually spend time on your pet! We went there at first because of their affordable care and payment options that we needed in a pinch when our pet just could not wait. It is nice that it is affordable, but the main reason we go there now is that we trust them with our fur babies. Everyone there really cares about your pet. We brought our cat there when he was dying from kidney failure. We did not have an appointment and we waited quite a long time to see a vet because they had a lot of appointments, but our cat was so sick that this did not matter, but when we finally did get a slot, the vet gave our cat one on one attention, beginning to end. We tried to give him fluids for a week there and then at home for a week to see if he could possibly live out his life comfortably. He did not make it, but I will never forget how they treated him and us with dignity in his last weeks. He never liked any of his old vets, but he was totally at ease at mission. Animals can sense when they are around good people. The exam room has huge window sills and big windows, perfect for cats! Their waiting area is huge and comfortable for people who are going to be there for a while. They even have a separate cat waiting area if your cat is skittish. Very well designed. Mission also only uses the most up to date, and safest vaccines available which is huge to me after losing our beloved scrappy to kidney failure at such a young age. We believe that this was in part due to his old vet using the old killed virus vaccines, which they now think are linked to kidney failure. I was so relieved to learn that all my current cats have the safe vaccine given to them by mission, before I was even aware that I should ask about these things. Then after getting all this care, and being handed a bill that is within my budget is fantastic! They earned my trust and loyalty for life.-----cat mom of very healthy happy felines

Aside from the vet, who was wonderful- I felt the customer service here was sorely lacking. Emergency situation with my cat, thought she had a stroke, we were walk-in, and while I understand first come, first serve, I was there for almost 4,5 hours, without any updates as to what was happening until I finally asked. Turns out the FIRST two hours after walking in ( and vet assistant immediately took my cat to the back, not telling me anything) She was sitting in a cage, waiting. They didnt tell me what the process was, so I assumed she was being examined the whole time. Finally asked after 2 hours what was going, and was told by same vet assistant there was one person ahead of me and would be seen soon. Nobody had updated me, a thing, even though I had come in crying.and was distraught. The girl REPEATEDLY called my cat a him, after many corrections, and the front desk girl on the WK in side was incredibly cold, impersonal, and didnt offer any kind words, or make it easy to settle me with Mission discount. ( Another client told me the same thing.. that else was very condescending with an attitude?) another hour later and we were seen, and the tech and vet were Incredible, and quick with treatment. Very kind, informative, and respectful. Checking out and paying with original assistant was chaotic, and she was not friendly, or empathetic. 4.5 hours there, NOBODY checking in one, giving me info on my cat, and never informing me that she hadnt been seen yet.. possibly eliminatingy anxiety that she was being poked, prodded, or examined allllll that time. Grateful for the care, but the service staff needs some training in dealing with people whose pets are a huge part of their life, and treating owners with respect and compassion!

I was extremely pleased with the visit for my senior pit bull terrier from start to finish. The hospital itself is welcomong, not all sterile, cold looking. Instead of the classic sterile white of most vet clinics, its wood floors, and warm colors on the walls. The staff at the desk greeted us promptly, checked us in right away and pointed us towards water for broc (theres a cute little sink/water fountain for the animals) We were brought into a room quickly and the vet tech came in to ask my concerns about our dog, and did some initial work with broc. I was thrilled with how instead of trying to make him get up on the table ( hes 13, and 100 pounds) they just said to let him be on the floor and theyd get him there. Dr. Illiana (not sure about spelling) was patient with my questions, took the time to explain. Things to me, and most important was honest in her opinion about his outlook. She understood our financial situation and took the least invasive and best approach to treat him in the way she thought was going to be the most beneficial and quickest to improve his quality of life. When I was upset, she took the time to comfort me and was very understanding that this was not just out pet he was our family. We got out dogs nails clipped during the visit also and again the vet tech that did it was amazing. She was quick, and even when he growled and snapped a few times when she got too close to his quick, she just backed off and gave him time to calm down and was very chill with him. The previous place we brought him to muzzled him on the principle of him being a pit bull when they did any work on him which was offensive to me. I will absolutely be bringing all of our pets to this clinic from now on. Thanks for reading.

Unfortunately my husky had gotten into some pills and was having a horrible time. I had originally tried a different hospital that was down the road, after being treated poorly and shoved out the door I found Mission on Google maps. So glad I did. I called to make sure they wouldnt turn us away simply because i didnt have 200 for just seeing a doctor let alone everything else he would need, they said theyed work with me after they helped my dog. My only complaint is parking, my 60 pound husky had refused to get up so i had to carry him from the back parking lot all the way around the building to get him in because there wasnt any parking. But the minute I got in they were ready for him and took him right in, no extra questions asked. The place is very nice and clean, and they wipe down everything a few times a day in the loby. Theres enough seating to be able to be separated from other animals, and they have a water fountain for dogs too. Unfortunately we had to come backany times after to get treatment. Never once did i have to make an appointment, i just walked in amd was usually woth a doctor within 30 minutes as long as there wasnt a lot of other pet emergencys. They always told me the price of a visit or a procedure before they started, and even looked at other vet prices to find the cheapest options for us. Unfortunately my husky had to be euthanized after a week of being in and out of mission. They were all so kind and made him as comfortable as possible. They have a special room for you to spend time with your animal as they go. They never once rushed me and talked and listened to me through the whole process. I will always recommend Mission hospital for any animal care.
