I have been taking my pets to Brookdale Animal Hospital for nine years, the staff, Dr. Renee and Dr. Bryan have been fabulous and informative and always go above and beyond on every visit. I have brought my dog in for regular visits and also emergency situations, Dr. Renee is always upfront and has a genuine care for my animals. The technicians always call and follow up with me on home care and the well being of my pets, they too love and care about the animals they treat, they have a passion and truly love what they do. I am always confident and comforted by the diagnosis and care through regular routine visits and also during the emergency situations I have dealt with. The costs for services are very reasonable and fair. I HIGHLY recommend Brookdale Animal Hospital to any pet owner, I am extremely happy with Dr. Renee and will continue to bring my pets here for years to come. Thank you to Dr. Renee and all the staff at Brookdale Animal Hospital for the exceptional care of my pets over the years!

I am sad that I have to give this review, but I felt like I needed to let people know about my experience. I have been a customer here for 10yrs, so I am not reviewing lightly. I will first say that the Vet techs are amazing and compassionate people and my experience every time with them has been wonderful! My cat of 19yr had to be put down a few months ago and my experience with Dr Bryan was awful! He was cold, uncompassionate, rushing me, and told me that if I had just done more we could have saved my cat. What an awful thing to say to someone whos furry friend is actively dying on their lap! Even when I asked him if I could hold my cat on my lap as he was euthanized Dr Bryan was argumentative with me. While animals need care, so do their humans, and to be talked down to like he did was so disappointing and hurtful. I am glad to see that others have had a better experience than I have. Blessings to the techs!

Dr. Renee and her staff have always shown a genuine care and concern for the health and over all welfare of both of the dogs I have brought to them. They are always very professional, and you can tell that they love what they do. So much so, that my daughter now wants to become a veterinarian. Its comforting to know that I can trust their diagnosis, knowing that they arent telling me I need to have something done if it is not necessary. Both of my dogs have undergone at least one major procedure each, and they recovered without complication. The staff was very good with following up with me until the dogs where in "in the clear" which I appreciate. I couldnt be happier with Dr. Renee and her staff, and as long as Im a pet owner I will continue to bring my pets to see them.

I WOULNT BRING MY ANIMALS HERE IF IT WAS HIT IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE CLINIC- I brought my cat Tabby in on Monday because she was breathing heavy- looked at my cat for 2 seconds- came back in the room with over a $500+ bill and said pay that or Tabby will die. I didn’t get paid until the next day (I have paid over $5k to this clinic for my dogs) and they still wouldn’t treat her. They only care about the bottom line not your pets wellbeing- Tabby suffered another 32 hours before we brought her to a good vet to be put down. They only did 1 test at a time- 1 was all it took to see her heart was failing and her chest was filled with fluid crushing her lungs. Big Lake Vet really cares about your pet- not this place- I warn you!

My kitties have been patients of BAH for almost ten years and although our experience with Dr. Bryan was horrible Dr. Renee is amazing, she is very compassionate, she make a point to make sure that we understand an illness, and all the options available. Sadly I had to put one of my babies down in 2012 it was the hardest thing ever and Dr. Renee was right there with me, informed me on what to expect with each step to come. BAH also allowed to take all the time I needed with my boy in the room alone after he was gone. The location is easy to find, clinic is clean and warm feeling. The tech staff are fun and friendly! I highly recommend BAH and Dr. Renee!

I went to this hospital for a couple years with several animals. Basic services at what I thought were outrageous prices. Then, I had a Bichon dog that I brought in with all of her shots, ready for grooming. She had been groomed twice before w/o incidents elsewhere. When I brought her in there they called me and said that she had a seizure during grooming and I paid like 5 times what a grooming should have cost. The second time I brought her in for grooming the same thing happens & it cost me $200 for "simply" grooming I havent brought my dog in for grooming since because they wouldnt allow me to come & be with here during the process.

After our beloved vet retired from an office close to BAH we were very unhappy with the new vet there. We tried BAH and LOVE it! I cant say enough wonderful things about Dr. Renee. Our puppy was having chronic ear infections and the other vet wanted to put her to sleep and lavage her ears, to a tune of over $700. Dr. Renee cleared it up with drops and even consulted a dermatologist to determine the best course to prevent further infections. Since then, we learned one of our kitties was diabetic, and another one has hyperthyroidism. Were very impressed with the level of care we receive at BAH!!

We have had 2 dogs and a cat that we have and are bring to the Brookdale Animal Hospital. We couldnt be happier with the service or care our pets have received. Dr Jeff and Dr Renee are very professional and do an excellent job describing what they are doing during the visit as well as describing any follow up treatment needed at home. I find that the fees for services are very reasonable and the facilities are well kept and welcoming. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone.

I took my 15 year old cat Harley to see Dr. Renee for a check-up. The staff was upfront with the costs and treatment plan (which turned out to be half the price of a hospital I used to bring Harley to in Maple Grove). Dr. Renee explained in detail what Harleys health issues are and how to treat them. The staff was tender and kind with my old kitty and took great care of her. I will be returning to Brookdale Animal Hospital for future appointments.

A few weeks ago my regular vet was out of town so we went to Brookdale and saw Dr. Renee. The staff was great and the vet explained things so we could understand what was going on. They also explained things that my regular vet had never even talked to us about. I will be going here from now on and recommend if you are looking for a good vet to try here.

I have been with Brookdale Animal hospital with my dogs for 10 years. Theyre very caring Doctors and staff. They are very compassionate and complete with the whole exam. They take all the time you need with your pet and for that Im grateful. I will continue to bring my dogs to them.
