STAY AWAY FROM MAPLE GROVE FAMILY DENTAL Super Disappointed. We were referred to Maple Grove Family Dental by a friend. We enjoyed about a year of positive dental work and good experiences with this provider. In May I left my job to stay home with the children and our insurance changed. This provider was listed as an In-Network provider for our new insurance. Today, TWO HOURS before a scheduled visit I was called and told that they will no longer see us because the amount they collect on the new insurance we are covered under is "Nominal and not much". They also told me that it is the doctors CHOICE as to whether or not they will continue to see us on the insurance and they DENIED us - why, because my kids are young and will likely need dental visits over the next 10 or so years? And might I mention that NOT ONCE did they ask if I was willing to pay out of pocket for any services - even todays scheduled cleaning for my 7 year old son. Read between the lines - PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT ON EMPLOYER PROVIDED HEALTH INSURANCES ARE NOT TREATED FAIRLY. A dental office or doctors office should allow existing patients to convert if their situation changes, not deny them, ESPECIALLY if they are a listed as an IN-NETWORK provider. Basically - we only see people with private dental insurance and screw you. And I was told the only reason they appear as a provider is because the only people they do see with any MNSure insurance were "mentally handicapped people". How disgusting. DO NOT USE THIS DENTAL OFFICE - God forbid you choose to stay home with your kids, or lose your job and your shiny employer provided benefits. It seems to be all they care about.

Love all the staff at at Dr Grindes office, I see Dr Alwin and he is very informative and gentle, my daughter 8yo and my son 6yo also loving going to the dentist here. My mom started seeing Dr Alwin, she is 82yo and normally doesnt like going to the dentist and she thinks everyone here is very nice and you feel comfortable here. Very great location in Maple Grove they are across the street from Jered Jewelry in the Arbor Lakes Medical Building right off hwy 94 and Hemlock. If your looking for a Dentist for you or you and your family pick up the phone and schedule, because you will love them all!! Tell them I sent you from Google Reviews.

STAY AWAY! They must pay people for the good reviews. They have to do unnecessary work on your teeth to pay for all the staff and equipment. Went in with no tooth pain. $850 later I cant chew on the right side of my mouth and am in excruciating pain! They also dont explain to you what could happen after a crown is installed. I had to go to google and find my answer. They care about drilling your teeth to make profits and to cover all the overhead. Just look at the website and see all the employees they have to pay. Trust me they are doing unnecessary work to pay for all employees and make money. STAY AWAY!

I hate going to the dentist. I hate seeing the dentist, even to the point of the wife calls it a phobia. However, I went to Dr. Chang and he was great. Explained everything and really did his best to ease my concerns. The entire staff is phenomenal and now when I get the call to go back for my semi-annual checkups I actually make the appointment. You cant go wrong with this outfit. The whole family goes there now a well. Highly recomended

I met Dr. Chang at a Maple Grove Ambassador dinner and was so impressed, I stopped going to my old dentist and started coming to Dr. Chang. That was 9 years ago. My kids see Dr. Chang and also my Dad, who is 90. Dr. Chang and my hygienist Jen are very gentle and concerned about my comfort. Everyone there is very friendly and personable. The care is excellent. I highly recommend Maple Grove Family Dental and especially Dr. Chang and Jen.

We have been going to MG Family Dental with Dr. Grinde for over 10 years. Their staff is efficient and very friendly. You are able to stay with the same hygienist if you prefer which is very nice. They keep up with new information and state of the art equipment. They do not push you into advanced procedures until they feel it is truly necessary. I trust Maple Grove Family Dental.
