Dr. Bloom is extremely knowledgeable and professional. If youre expecting warm and fuzzy, then he is not for you, although I have to say that our last visits he has been much more personable! I do respect him and like him very much. As a parent, I have always been uncomfortable and felt intimidated by doctors in general because I am not familiar with their termanalogies and have had bad experiences with other doctors in my life. Dr. Bloom is direct and explains everything to us...what are options are and what procedures is best for my son. He was referred to us by a family doctor. We have been going to see Dr. Bloom for a while now and my son has had really great results since seeing Dr. Bloom. His staff--front desk as well as nurses are very patient, caring and sweet. I also like that he has a very diversed staff working for him. I highly recommend him because he knows his stuff and does it well.

DO NOT GO PLEASE! Dr. Bloom was HORRIBLE! He was not only extremely rude to me, but also to my preteen daughter. His procedures were incredibly expensive and painful. He would not even try to listen to me or my daughter, or explain to us what he would do. The was scary and when my daughter asked him if she would receive any shots, he grabbed her hands, commanded her to look him in the eyes, and told her "We are going to give you an anesthetic. Do you not understand???" and "LOOK AT ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU" when she glanced at me because she was uncomfortable. This man should NOT be dealing with people, especially CHILDREN! He is supposed to be a pediatric dermatologist? No way! I think his license should be revoked immediately. I should not have gone. I knew we should have left before we even went into the exam room. Save yourself and you children some pain, DO NOT go to Dr. Bloom.

For three years I searched for a dermatologist who could provide answers about my sons severe eczema. We visited many different doctors and none of them could provide the care needed to relieve my sons condition. My son would scratch his body from toes to torso until he was bloody. We had many sleepless nights and lots of tears. Since beginning treatment with Dr. Bloom, my sons eczema has been decreased by almost 90%, his skin infections reduced by about 80% and he is sleeping through the night every night!!! Additionally, my son has acquired other less-common skin conditions and Dr. Bloom has been able to diagnose them immediately. He is a unique individual who is extremely brilliant. I trust him to provide the best care for my child and so should you. Note: If you are not willing to follow Dr. Blooms advice, do not bother taking him here.

We took our one year old son to his pediatricians office THREE times, and saw three different doctors, trying to figure out the cause and cure of a rash on his tummy. The last two times he was in, we were told it was ringworm and that we needed to put on what was clearly a very uncomfortable creme (prescription strength antifungal). Finally, I brought him in to Dr. Bloom. Dr. Bloom immediately diagnosed the rash as being in the psoriasis family and gave him a creme that cleared up the rash we had been fighting for months in just 24 hours. Amazing. We should have just brought him in to Dr. Bloom immediately upon the appearance of the rash. His diagnosis was spot-on and he was wonderful with both my son and my four year old daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Bloom. He is the best best best when it comes to skin care.

Dr. Bloom has treated 3 of our 4 boys for acne and various moles. He has always been friendly and taken the time to answer all of our questions. He especially went above and beyond in treating our 2nd son who had a terrible case of back/chest acne that was completely undertreated by another doctor. He had large lumps and sores which we had been told we couldnt treat because it was considered comsmetic. Dr. Bloom was recommended to us at that time and upon seeing our sons case was moved to treat him with steroid treatments on the spot. He took pictures of the lumps and sores and obtained insurance coverage for the treatment. We are extremely grateful for Dr. Blooms handling of our sons case and only wish we had found him sooner to avoid the terrible sores in the first place. I would highly recommend Dr Bloom!

Save your time, worries and money and go elsewhere. We were referred to Dr. Bloom because it was the only place our doc felt our child could be seen quickly -- that should have been a red flag. There is a reason this clinic has openings...I doubt any parent would go back twice! Dr. Bloom wasnt willing to listen to our concerns/reason for the visit, ordered tests on our child that caused unnecessary worry and then failed miserably when trying to explain why/what the tests/hypotheses he had regarding our childs health were. He lacked emotion/compassion when addressing our concerns and his tone/demeanor were extremely rude. We will not be going back to Dr. Bloom - our dermatological needs and money are going elsewhere. I would not recommend this clinic/Dr. Bloom to any parent.

I was referred to Dr. Bloom by another Physician that I see. I have seen other dermatologists before, and have never been examined, and had time spent with me like Dr. Bloom has. I have acute psoriasis and it has never been better since I have been under his care. His diagnostic skills are truly amazing, and he has been acknowledged for these. I can appreciate someone, especially a physician, being honest and direct with me. I think some people might mistake his directness as being rude. I think NOT, and I have the results to prove it. I would refer Dr. Bloom to anyone, young adult, or grown adult for any dermatology needs.

I visited Dr. Bloom last summer to help diagnose a growth on the end of my finger that had been inaccurately diagnosed by another doctor for almost two years. Dr. Bloom showed relentless tenacity in his practice of trying to identify what it was. The end result was a correct diagnosis of it being a cancerous tumor. I immediately had the tumor removed and am recovering. His attention to detail and commitment to problem solving most likely saved my life.

We had the worst experience with Dr Bloom. Not only was he rude, he also prescribed medications that are not approved by the FDA because they have been proven to cause cancer in small children!! I dont even think he likes children!!

We had a horrible experience with Dr. Bloom. His bedside manner is atrocious, and he was very rude and disrespectful to my son and myself as well.

I found Dr. Bloom and his staff professional and caring. His front desk staff (Mike) was instrumental in "squeezing" me in during an emergency.
