I cant finds words great enough to describe how wonderful Gladstone Animal Clinic is. Making an appointment is fast, the receptionist are attentive, if you dont have an appointment, they will fit you in. Just the best. I went in one time and an assistant had a baby kitten in her front pocket who was having the time of its life. So much fun under the circumstances. But the best is my Avian Vet, Dr. Andrew Rambo. For some reason I keep finding birds or they find me. I take them in to see if Dr. Rambo can do anything for them, usually theyre on their last leg, no pun intended, but he always takes a look at the birds and lets me know if there is anything that can be done to save them. He goes above and beyond and doesnt expect much in return. He saved my one precious bird that I found, a Falcon got a hold of her, I took her in, he cleaned her up, she had a nice hole in her back, bloody ear, that was almost a year ago. Today, she is spoiled and flies so fast and graceful. Thanks to Dr. Rambo for not making me feel silly about bringing in a pigeon. Pigeons are great contrary what most people think. Youd have to have one to understand. They are filled with so much love and so smart. Anyway, Dr. Rambo is quite exceptional, and if you need an Avian Vet, Dr. Rambo is your next appointment. Thank you Dr. Rambo and Staff, for being kind and generous in all that you do. It is well appreciated! Tasha Reed

Gladstone Animal Clinic has some good doctors but if you choose to stay with this vet be sure to invest in pet insurance or some kind of a pet care program. Or always keep an emergency fund set aside for your pets. I have two cats and two dogs and stuck with Gladstone for at least 10 years as a loyal, paying customer. I bought all of my senior dogs medication refills there also, even though I knew I could order them online for less money. But when my 11 year old dog had an HGE episode, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, Gladstone Animal Clinic refused to help her when I called them and told them I would not be able to immediately pay the bill at the time of services due to having already paid several hundred dollars to the Animal Emergency Clinic only a few hours earlier that same morning. Our conversation occurred at around 8:00am and my dog died at around 10:30am. If you cant set up some kind of an emergency backup plan for times like this then wait until AFTER they have done their work on your pet, and then tell them you cant pay at that time. Whatever you do, DO NOT call ahead and be honest with them upfront. Because if it is truly an emergency your pet will suffer and possibly die. Shop around, ask questions, and talk with some other vets before getting too comfortable at Gladstone Animal Clinic.

AVOID THIS SO-CALLED ANIMAL CLINIC AT ALL COSTS!!!! THE BIDDIES IN THE OFFICE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOUR BELOVED PET - ALL THEY SEEM TO CARE ABOUT IS GOSSIPING & GETTING OUT OF THERE, EVEN THO I SHOWED UP 15 MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSED - STATED HOURS ARE 8-6 & THE OFFICE WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY - BOTH SIDES. I WAS TOLD FOR ANTIBIOTICS FOR MY PUP, WHO HAS A GAPING HOLE IN HER RIGHT FRONT LEG ARMPIT, THAT THEY "WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME MORE SINCE THIS IS URGENT CARE", EVEN THO I WAS STILL WELL WITHIN THEIR STATED BUSINESS HOURS. ITS A REAL SHAME WHEN PEOPLE WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANIMALS ARE MAKING THEIR LIVING IN ANIMAL HEALTH CARE. TOO BAD THE VETS DONT KNOW HOW POTENTIAL PATIENTS ARE TREATED, SINCE I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY DO CARE ABOUT ANIMALS - BUT I COULD BE WRONG & THIS COULD BE AT THEIR DIRECTION. I WILL NEVER E-V-E-R SEEK THEIR SERVICES, NOR RECOMMEND ANYBODY I CARE ABOUT USE THIS APPALLING ENTITY. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO GO THERE - OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN AFFORD TO BE OVERCHARGED & UNDER-CARED FOR!!!

I have been taking my pets to Gladstone Animal Clinic for over 16 years now and I wouldn’t change a thing! I would highly recommend them to anyone! I usually see Dr. Richards but I have been seen by many different veterinaries going there and they all are great. Each of them takes their time with my dogs and treats us as if they were family. I know that, I can call at any time and speak to my vet about anything concerning my dog, which in itself is very comforting to me! I have been to other animal clinics and no one compares to the level of service and care that Gladstone Animal Clinic provides! Everyone there is great and cares about your pets and what is going on with them. Even the girls behind the counter remember things about my dogs that happened years ago. I can’t say enough about them, I love taking my dogs there and I highly recommend them to everyone!

I brought in a young cat who needed help but I didnt have an appointment so I was unable to see an actual vet when I got there. Thats fine, I understand, no stars lost for that. However, the tech who checked the cat to determine if it was an emergency situation did not recognize signs of feline aortic thromboembolism(which I only know now from researching while trying to comfort him), instead telling me that his vitals checked out okay so I scheduled an appointment and took him home. That resulted in him spending the day in agony before I broke down and took him to the emergency clinic for help. He had to be euthanized, which I get, but he didnt have to suffer all day before it happened. If, in the morning, you tell a person that their cat is well enough to go home, said person should not have to put down the cat out of mercy that night.

I brought my dog in for an emergency and after receiving excellent care from a very kind helpful doctor, the entire experience was ruined by their office staff! My dog did not get better after seeing them and upon returning with a still obviously sick dog, I was turned away because I still had a balance left over from the previous time. Not only that, but they still charged me for an office visit I was denied, and tests that were supposedly run that I never even got results to because they kicked me out! My dog is dying and all they care about is jacking up your bill and not even giving you the services they charge you for. Watch out for malpractice and a very rude office manager!!! DO NOT take your pets there if you care about them at all

We had a great experience at Gladstone. We are new to the area and selected this clinic based on ratings from other customers. The clinic quickly saw us and helped us to update our vet records, which included four years of German paperwork, and gave our pets vaccinations and medication. One of the techs even showed us how to properly clean one of our dogs ears. We also scheduled a surgery to remove a cyst on our small dogs leg, everything went very well. They will answer any questions by phone and allow walks following events such as surgery with no extra charge (this was helpful when our dog pulled out some stitches). Overall great experience; I highly recommend this vet team and clinic.
