I absolutely love this place. Ive been taking my dog to this vet for 2 years. After we moved away from the area, we ended up adopting a cat as well. Problem was, we got him with a lesion on his back foot and no-one informed us that it was there. So, we took him to the vet that was suggested to us from the adoption place. They said it could be this or that, but well take a test and get the results in 2 weeks. Results came back and it was inconclusive. We decided to actually take the time to travel from south side Des Moines to Waukee-Clive Vet Clinic. Im extremely happy we did. Right away, the doctor knew what it was and helped us with the next steps for care. This place is knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, understanding, professional, and all positives you can think of. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I recommend the Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic with full enthusiasm as it is, without a doubt, the BEST clinic I have ever used. From how they expertly and compassionately handled the unexpected onset of an untreatable illness with one of our Abyssinian cats to the attentive and professional care they consistently give our 2 new Abyssinian cats and 16-year old Abyssinian, I feel confident, safe and secure with my pets in their expert care. Their followup before and after appointments, the personal nature of their care, their patience to discuss all treatments, and their expert boarding services are just part of their excellent work. I could not be happier with the Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic.

Our dog needed emergency surgery to remove a blockage in her stomach. They got me in same day and the price was awesome! The staff are so nice and are patient to answer all questions. I never felt once that I was bothering them or being rushed out the door. They took amazing care of our dog, and because of that we will continue to use them as our primary vet. It was so great knowing I could leave our brand new puppy with them, and she would be well taken care of. The vet even gave me her personal number to call her after hours if we had any issues. Service is beyond amazing here! You will not be disappointed by choosing this place for your animals needs.

I contacted the Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic in a panic b/c my kitty came down with urinary issues the week before my wedding. Not yet establishing ourselves at that clinic or with a doctor, Dr. Bunn was kind enough to come in on his day off to take a look at my cat and help diagnose the problem. Dr. Bunn and his staff were amazing to work with and reassured me, in panic mode and on the verge of a nervous breakdown b/c our wedding was right around the corner, that all would be OK and wed get to the bottom of the issue. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and will continue to refer to them for all our veterinary needs going forward.

Dr. Bun has loved on and cared for 2 of my dogs now. When I had to make the awful decision to let my 14 year old lab go, Dr. Bun & the staff couldnt have made it a better process. They are so sensitive to both the furry friend AND the owners. Now he and his staff care for my Maggie. Shes a scaredy cat when it comes to getting checked but they are totally skilled at managing her timidness. When Maggie had pancreatitis a couple of years ago they kept in the loop of the emergency care facility and followed up regularly to make sure our Maggie healed properly. Love, love, love Waukee-Clive Veterinary Clinic.

Just went in for the first time last week with my lab. Everyone was very nice and professional from the very beginning. Dr. Holly was very thorough and explained everything so I could understand in lehmans terms what may have been previously going on with my dog. I felt comfortable asking questions and like they were actually answered. I have complete confidence in her and her team and this is why I will return for all my future vet needs. I highly recommend this office :)

Wonderful staff and veterinarian care. Our 8 month old puppy developed a degenerative hip disease and Dr. Holly took the time to thoroughly examine her and knew what was wrong without even performing an x-ray. She performed surgery a week later and now our dog is completely recovered. Dr. Holly was also very compassionate and truly cared about us and our dog during the whole process. Would highly recommend!

This place is only good for vaccines, which isnt good for much because then you have someone that knows your pet history, but dont know what to do for other emergencies. My biggest issue is that the doctors are not confident on how they deliver medical device. This leaves the pet owners feeling unsure of the decisions they make. I feel like I made poor decisions due to poor consulting for my pet.

We have recently moved to the area. They fit us in for an emergency visit and we were met with nothing but kindness and compassion. Wonderful team is amazing professionals. We are moving to them for all of our care! Cant say enough about them! **Would also like to update that their boarding services are also fantastic. They took great care of our dog. Ive been taking my dog to Waukee-Clive Vet since 2008. They have always been helpful and supportive and good about answering questions. When I look at my bill after the care nothing seems over priced. They take appointments and have been able to get my dog in same day. Ive been able to meet all three veterinarians and they all made me feel very confident. Thanks!

This was our first visit with our 3-year old cat, Dexter. The office is clean and welcoming. No one knew us yet but everyone was nice. We saw Dr. Bunn and he was great. He was nice, happy and knowledgeable. He even taught my children (who were with me) some ways to check on Dexters health. We look forward to getting to know the staff and vets better over time.

The staff is always friendly and attentive. The vet takes time to listen to our concerns and explain things. I think he is very knowledgable and really understands a lot about veterinary medicine. I was really worried about finding a new vet after moving to town from California, because we loved our vet there, but Dr. Bunn and his staff have been great!

We were able to get in as a new patient/puppy within a days notice. It was a very welcoming environment as we were greeted at the door and the staff was very kind and helpful. It was also nice to receive information about local training and pet services along with ways to help our puppy adapt to a new environment.

I love this clinic. I never feel stupid for bringing my dogs in for anything, and everyone is always so willing to help and answer my questions and make sure my dogs are healthy and well taken care of. The facility is super clean. I am very happy I made the switch about 1.5 years ago to Waukee Clive Vet.
