I would not recommend working for this company. Recently my fiance was employed here. After turning in her 2 week notice her supervisor Betsy told her she would withhold her final paycheck if she did not have all her paper work in. During my fiances last week, a patient she was seeing asked her if she could ask her employer about staying on to see her. The owner Julie said no and furthermore stated that if my fiance did not turn in her paper work she would not receive her last paycheck. Yes, the owner said that. A person who should know it is ILLEGAL to withhold pay from any employee. They obviously are more concerned about making threats than patient centered care. I have tried to encourage my fiance to file a formal complaint with the state against Home Nursing With Heart! Regards, JD Welsh PS: I am amending this post as of 8/18 , I find it very odd that 2 months after I posted this review 3 employees immediately respond to my review with these great glowing ones! Look they all say this within the same week. However, none of them say, we have never said we will withhold an employees check who chose to resign if they didnt have their notes in by a certain time. Heres the thing; I posted the same review on their Facebook which they responded with the statement below and conveniently deleted. "Paychecks can be withheld for clinicians that our paid per visit!" After I sent a copy of the state law regarding their response, I got none....how shocking! Let me tell you what is wrong with that statement YOU CANT WITHHOLD ANYONES WAGES! But according to Home Nursing With A Heart you can if they are paid per visit. Its get better, my fiance asked to get a copy of her last pay stub, now a company like this as those reviews implied with such integrity, you would think would accomodate her request ......NOPE! Whats even funnier is Jim Laughlin the COO recently texted her on 8/17/16 with a request for permission to use her likeness in their company photo! Oh the information below comes from Citehealth. You can look it up on google. Home Nursing With Heart offers nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, medical social, and home health aide services. Patients of this agency are not as likely to have improvement in bladder control, be short of breath less often, have to be admitted to the hospital less often, need urgent unplanned medical care less often, and stay at home after home health care ends, when compared to other state home care agencies.

I have been an employee with Home Nursing With Heart since 2012. As a Reimbursement Specialist, I focus on financials and billing. This is the first company where everything I could offer to a company is utilized. Instead of doing one job, I am able to learn and challenge my potential through, patient calls, talking with and building relationships with referral sources and new patients. I have built strong relationships with my coworkers, especially when it comes to the cares of their patients. The boss, who is a working owner, who continues to go out into the field because it is something she loves to do, not only does she have her door open for her employees, she involves all of us with ideas, changes and improvements along the way of this growing company. Julie puts patients, her employees and of course her pup Ernie, the office mascot as top priority and is also flexible with us. In my 12 years of being in Health Care I couldn’t ask for a better company to be working for.
