I have been blessed with excellent PT professionals for the past several years. Riverwalk PT came highly recommended so I expected a high level of professionalism and help for my impossible back situation. I had been to several other professionals who would not touch me and who could not help me. Riverwalk PT is an over the top place to get help. From the efficiency of the front office, the representation on the phone, the PT assistants and the actual physical therapists - I cant say enough about how caring and knowledgeable they are. The first time John worked on me, he worked with me a couple of weeks and told me he could not help me, but he would find a surgeon for me that could help me. He could have continued to see me just to collect fees, but he didnt. He found a doctor for me who fixed my problems. Afterwards, as soon as I was able to drive, I started at Riverwalk again. Same over the top help and caring. The atmosphere is light and very upbeat. All the people are friendly and helpful. The next problem I had a couple of years later, I was greeted with the same caring professionals. As John was evaluating my needs, he came across a problem that he wanted to rule out before he continued. He went across the hall and made an appt for me with a doctor to rule out a blood clot. In 45 minutes I was seeing this doctor (John went with me to explain what he found to the doctor and told me to come back after I saw the doctor) who did clear me for physical therapy. John and Phil and their staff provide the best care to everyone as I observe when I am there. All of us are in the same room and it becomes like family there. I always go home with a sense that everyone is listening and paying attention to give me the best. In a day when most of the time I am rushed in a doctors office, Riverwalk takes that extra step of caring. While there are several very good PT practices near me, I travel from Hillsborough to take advantage of what Riverwalk graciously and professionally have to offer. I highly recommend this practice. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder two years ago. I went to a physical therapy in Middlesex which was 5 minutes from my home. After 3 sessions, my therapist didnt bother to work on me anymore. She was telling that working on me, makes the area aggressive! (Really?!) I was just going there to exercise on the hand bike and to use some bands and then to get ice! After 12 sessions I was feeling only %10 better! I was tired of the pain and the time and money I had spent for this problem. After a year of dealing with the pain and having a terrible life, my husband found Riverwalk physical therapy which was 20 minutes away from my home. After some researches he strongly suggested me to start going there. Although I was scared of physical therapy but because of the frozen shoulder and frozen arm I had, I started going there. Oh Lord, they were awesome. On every session, one fantastic therapist was working on me for more than 20 minutes. I remember once I was in a bad pain and my therapist worked on me for 45 minutes. They were doing the best they could to help me. I was spending about 2 hours everyday in that place. They always watch you do your exercises. The place is clean and sanitized. Staff are friendly and kind. They are concerned about your health. They dont work for money. They love what they do and thats why my doctor saw no sign of frozen shoulder on me anymore! I was feeling sad to say Bye to them after 36 sessions. I am sure I will stop by to say Hi to them each time I am around Basking Ridge. John, Phil, and Mary were my therapists but I am sure the other therapists are awesome too.

I have had two occasions over the past year and a half to require physical therapy and happened upon Riverwalk via an internet search for a practice near my home. I cannot say how pleased I have been with such a random pick. The PT staff members are consummate professionals and the admin staff is both friendly and efficient. I had the most experience with John Amodio, particularly during my recent recovery from rotator cuff surgery. My recovery has been successful beyond my expectations and I believe it is due in the large part to Johns personal attention and constant challenges to my therapy. I find it amazing how well the PT staff members work together and find that it matters not which therapist I worked with during any one session, he or she was always up to date with the progression of the therapy and was completely complimentary with the days treatment. This is a friendly yet totally professional atmosphere and one soon learns to appreciate the personal attention and commitment of each staff member. These folks truly enjoy their work. I have recommended Riverwalk to close friends and have had nothing but positive feed back and complete satisfaction.

5 years ago, after tearing both menisci on the Appalachian Trail, I went to Riverwalk Physical Therapy. Phil worked with me, and I was back on the trails in no time. That’s why, after my bilateral hip replacement surgery last April, I went back. This time I worked with Phil and Mary on alternate visits. On a visit when one worked with me, the other stopped by to see how I was progressing. Not only were the two of them involved, but the entire staff participated in my recovery also. It’s like a family there. Knowing that I’m very active, both in the gym and outdoors, Mary and Phil tailored my therapy routine to get me back in shape as quickly as possible. It didn’t take long and I had my full flexibility and strength back again. Now, thanks to Riverwalk Physical Therapy, I’m back climbing mountains again, and doing all the other activities I love participating in. I’d recommend them to anybody who needs minor or major physical therapy. Take it from me; you’ll be in good, caring hands at Riverwalk.

These guys are the absolute best youll find. Ive had several injuries treated at riverwalk over the last six years, and, being an athlete, the staff here has given me opportunities to be ready to play stronger than I was before each time. Im currently on track back from a labral tear I received surgery on back in November, and the entire staff (especially Marissa!!!) has worked with me to give me the most efficient, yet extremely entertaining, road to recovery I could ever imagine having. I can honestly say Ive built a personal connection with each member of their amazing staff, but also add that their professionalism is something unheard of in such a family-like environment. They always make sure Im doing my best in and out of physical therapy, and pushing myself to take the most efficient, beneficial road to health I can. I cant stress enough, if you need any treatment at all these guys will truly make your journey to health seem like a short chapter of your life spent at a home away from home.
