After spending well over $1000.00 dollars and lots of office visits and phone consultations my dog was TOTALLY MIS-DIAGNOSED by Dr. Euhler. The dog didnt have Diabetes Insipidus nor did he have a Stomach Disorder. He had CANCER. How in the hell the DR. could of missed that-and never even mentioned cancer-is beyond me. Had they given me a list of symptoms to check off-like I saw on the internet, we would of been closer to the truth. THIS TO ME IS 100% PURE INCOMPETENCE. I am convinced the Dr. had no clue what was wrong with my dog and just guessed and didnt have the guts to say, "I dont know, take the dog elsewhere". All I wanted was honesty. If you cant diagnose cancer, what the hell good are you? If I get another dog after dealing with this vet I WOULD NEVER TAKE MY DOG to Blackwood Animal Hospital. They may be ok for routine care that anybody could do but if the dog has a problem-youd better get a second opinion right away; because, chances are they have no clue what is wrong and they are just guessing. They dont have to deal with the loss, you and I will. The dog had to be put to sleep. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE. I wouldnt rate this practice any star at all, you had me spend a lot of money and you had no clue what was wrong with the dog.

On Feb.24th 2017 my puppy, Phil died at the Blackwood Animal Hospital after being neuter by a Dr. Zelnick. According to them, Phils heart stopped, he couldnt be revived. Phil was only 7 months old. I believe his death was do to the negligence of the Doctor and staff. This dog had NO signs of any medical issues. The day I brought him in they had double digits of pets from local rescues and shelters being neutered/ spayed. When doing this volume all kinds of mistakes happen. Of course, they took no responsibility for the loss. Actually, only person who even said they were sorry for our loss that was the Office Manager. The Doctor was very cold and uncaring. Apparently, not even a member of the permanent staff but instead a fill in doctor who specializes in high volume surgeries. BECAREFUL and ask questions before bring your beloved member of the family there. If I had known Phil would be treated like he was on an assembly line, I never would have brought him there!!!

Getting charged for an ear cleaning on Tuesday, fine. Noticed kittens ears bothering him Wednesday, and Thursday made another appointment. They charged me again for ANOTHER ear cleaning Friday??? Should have been done correctly the first time. Sorry, thats not how you treat customers. Judy,..Im sure youll here my complaint from the ever so pleasant cashier I dealt with. If Im not credited or provided a refund for the ear cleaning, I will call Visa and have the aforementioned cleaning contested and then you will loose many, many customers. I live in the area and work in the area. Ill talk to you Monday, hopefully I can change this post, for the most part your animal Hospital has been okay. Updated... 1 hr after thus post, the office manager called on her day off and was awesome, Im once again a happy customer!

Dr. Euler really cares about the health of my cats. Ive had an ongoing issue with one of my cats, and every time I bring my kitty back to the vet, Dr. Euler remembers where we are with treatment and we talk through next steps. Ive always had a good experience with the people that work at the front desk, as well as the techs who help the vet. My cats are not fans of being there and are quite volatile in the examine room. Even though Im embarrassed, the techs never seem to mind that they have to put on the long gloves to handle them. Ive been to several vets over the years and they are by far the best.

I have always used this vet but today I used the grooming they offer there. I was beyond happy with the results. I have a 12 1/2 year old saymoyed. She has a TON of hair and has pretty bad arthritis so its hard for her to stand for long stretches of time. Let me tell you..Boo Bear looks stunning. She was giving lots of TLC and the breaks she needed so she didnt get worn out. Susan (I believe her name is) was extremely patient and kind to her. Boo will go no where else from this point forward. Happy is an understatement!!!

I have been using this facility for over 12 years now , back when they had that other little office down the pike. Their new facility is fantastic. All the Doctors and nurses and front desk staff are very knowledgeable and very friendly. They care about you and your pets. Not like that emergency clinic down the rd, all they care about is your money. This place is catty corner to Skeeters in Blackwood . The Doctors there are willing to work with you , they care about you and your pets. Jim G Blackwood NJ

I took my cat to this animal hospital for 4 years because the doctors are great and friendly, but the facility itself has become unfavorable. The waiting area reaks of urine and my cat becomes very unnerved sitting amoungst barking dogs since there are not separate waiting areas. We saw them "mop up" at the end of the night (more like push the mop around the general areas) and that was the last appointment I made there. Its unfortunate because, as mentioned, the doctors are great.

Hands down the best Veterinary Clinic. Have been coming here for almost 20 years. Old and new location. Dr. Joe has taken care of so many animals of ours from diagnosing diabetes to urinary blockages. Hes spot on from observation and confirmed with tests if he feels the need for them. No greed here, just the care and well being of your pets. Highly recommended coming from a person that once spent 7800 at Regional in Turnersville. Should have checked with Blackwood first.

We unfortunately took our pitbull here to be put down because she had cancer. She was suffering and we really didnt have much of a choice. They were very understanding and compassionate of our situation and allowed me to stay while they put her to sleep and for some time after to say my goodbyes. Everyone was sweet and caring and it only makes me hate the fact that we stuck with the vet we had used for years instead if Blackwood animal hospital.

Theyre great with my dog, and the vet is awesome. They saved my first dog 10 years ago when she ate poisonous mushrooms! Sometimes the front staff is a little less attentive than they should be though. I requested simple paperwork and the receptionist gave me a hard time about it, saying she was too busy.Havent heard back yet. Maybe I caught them on an off day. Regardless, for emergencies and exams I trust them 100%.

Ditto on what Nathan had to say about Dr. Joe. He saved my iguanas life. He was straightforward and let us know every problem in detail. He was very helpful with any questions and went above and beyond with any assistance he had to give. I truly believe if I would have went elsewhere my little girl would be gone. On top of all of it the visit cost for reptiles was well below the average for any other specialist.
