My boyfriend and I looked into adopting a German Shepard named Roxy through them. She was listed on Pet Finder for many weeks. When I went for my interview the person I spoke with was very rude and condescending. I Later later found out this was Dr Griffith, the Veterinarian and owner - and this was after doing some searching on my own because he never introduced himself when I first met him. Aside from a generally rude and condescending tone from the minute I met him, he asked me two times with in a few minutes if I had children. The first time he asked me if there were any kids in the house, to which I responded that neither my boyfriend or I have children. He then proceeded to ask me about 1-2 questions later, after looking me up and down and asked "YOU dont have any kids?". while I understand this dog was in need of a home without kids, because she was hyper and in need of training/structure. I was highly offended. but I sharply answered with just a No. My boyfriend called the next day about the status and we were informed that they were still interviewing a lot more people and that everyone would be informed of the decision either way. we also called one other time and were told the same thing, that they were still interviewing and we would received a call soon. We never received a phone call telling us we werent selected. The other staff we spoke with were all very nice but also seemed very nervous, kind of like they were walking on egg shells.

What an exciting time for us only to feel we were discriminated against because we are a special needs family. I am so disappointed by the experience Ive had here. I have been looking for months and months for a doggie that would be a perfect fit for our family. The receptionist was just so rude and mean from the very first time I called. She told me it sounded like we have way too much going on because I have a special needs child. Im a SAHM with one child. Also from the moment I got there, they never asked for references they just wanted to know which Vet I would be using. How sad for my daughter to have missed out on how great Gracie and her would have been together. My daughter is such a quiet, shy girl I really thought they were a perfect match and I would have done anything to take care of this gem. What a shame. It really does seem this place is only out for their own pockets and being discriminated against is just terrible for us as a family.

PROS: Dr. Griffith was very professional and took very good care of our puppy. Nicole, the receptionist, was very friendly and warm and seemed to be the most knowledgeable and experienced out of all the girls (including the techs). CONS: DO NOT board your pet here! They seemed lost when we would call to check on our puppy, and it seemed like they didnt even know which dog we were inquiring about. When I picked our puppy up she was damp with urine. They said she hadnt eaten that morning, but when we got home, it seemed like she hadnt eaten in days! Another thing that ticked me off is that they trimmed her coat without checking with us, which we would not have wanted. Very inconsiderate. Very unprofessional. Very unsatisfied!

They didnt latch my cats carrier correctly he escaped nearly killed on rt 46 and lost in the neighborhood across the street.Said they would help find him they never did. The worst vets ever. Said they would set humane traps never did and make flyers they lied.This doctor is more worried about his wallet than your animal. DON"T WALK RUN!

Dr. Griffth and staff were extremely professional and understanding of our families needs. Although I was charged twice for medications is was handled promptly with the front desk over the phone. Dr. Grifrth took his time explaining and educating me of my dogs issues.
