We have known Dr. Dave for more than a decade as he has expertly cared for two of our dogs. He also comes highly recommended for his skill as a veterinarian and surgeon. Dr. Dave has a special character trait that makes him unique -- it is the way in which he cares for our furry friends. Initially we consulted with him after a wonderful, well-behaved German Shepherd appeared on our back porch nearly 12 years ago. He provided us with top-notch veterinary care, unsurpassed medical expertise and a calm demeanor. Most recently, he cared for our 11-year-old Lab/German Shepherd who had a few health issues. He approached our current situation with a detailed and thorough exam during each visit, consulted with other specialists, and researched fully our dogs health condition. Needless to say, Dr. Dave has been a strong presence in our lives and in the lives of our animals. His office staff also has been outstanding and are always pleasant and helpful. We wish Dr. Dave many more years of success in his business.

We have 5 dogs and have been clients of three other veterinarian practices in Bernardsville and Basking Ridge before finding Chester Animal Hospital 15 + years ago. Dr. Dave is a phenomenal- caring, focused and so responsive. Your animal will not only br treated with kindess and respect but his diagnostic abilities are A+.We have had our dogs treated for cancer, orthopdeic issues and genreal care. He refers out to great specialist when needed so you know your dogs are in good hands. The vets at Cornell praised his medical skills and told me that he was excellent when I brought one of my dogs to them after Dr. Dave suggested she see a specialist.

After being a long time customer, I must say that I will never return to see Dr. Dave again. I just had a very bad experience with him regarding my cat. I felt he did not explain things to me, rushed me, and complained about my cats behavior. I had always found him to be compassionate and willing to take the time to explain things. I was in a very vulnerable spot and found him and some of his staff insensitive about my situation and unwilling to listen to my concerns. Sorry, time to move on and find another vet.

Zero "bedside manner," RUDE, rushed through everything, and had a condescending manner. Wont return phone calls, and office staff is just as rude. Gave them a second chance, and things were still the same. Didnt tell us that our dog was coughing while we boarded it, or that they had to force feed her. Wont be using them again.

Dr. Mig is the best! We have loved taking our pets to him over the last 6 years! Always there for us when we needed them, even when one of our dogs died. They are warm and compassionate and wouldnt trust anyone else with the care of my dogs. I have recently moved :( and now must trust someone else with my dogs care.
