We had never been to Dr. Szczotkas office before last week when we brought in our gravely ill cat whod deteriorated very quickly. She was 11 years old and a totally indoor cat, so she hadnt been to the vet in many years. We fully expected to be chastised for being terrible pet parents, but instead Dr. Szczotka examined our cat and was able to feel a mass in her liver. She explained all our options to us and our 7-year-old son, and then gently helped to ease our cats passing which she said was inevitable and not something we couldve done much about even if wed brought her in sooner. She calmly explained everything she was doing and what was happening with our cat as she peacefully went to sleep, even telling our son "dont be scared, those are just false breaths-- its almost over." Her staff offered us their condolences as we left and even mailed us a copy of the Rainbow Bridge a few days later. I cant say enough about the compassionate care we received at this office-- we were all very distraught at the time and it made a terrible situation much more bearable. We came from another local vet who we had avoided for years because of his gruff demeanor and have now switched our other senior cat over to Dr. Szczotka. We highly recommend her office if you prefer a vet who will show concern and sympathy for you as well as your pets, especially as you face end of life decisions.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Szczotka for about 2 years now. She is very kind, compassionate, and very knowledgable. The staff at The Cat Doctor is also just as awesome. When I had to make the decision to euthanize one of my kitties, they showed a level of care and compassion that cannot be rivaled by any vet Ive ever been to. They truly care about the animals here. They are the best vet Ive ever taken my cats to in the 10+ years they have been a part of my family.

Awesome service as always. Everyone at the Cat Doctor loves cats and it shows. I have never felt that a visit has been rushed, they always take the time to fully explain things and answer questions. I recommend the Cat Doctor without reservation for anyone with a cat looking for a veterinarian practice with extremely knowledgeable doctors, friendly environment and reasonable pricing.

Dr. Sue has been taking care of my cats, and therefore me, for 14 years...I couldnt be happier or more satisfied with their level of care! Shes not in it for the money, but rather the well-being of the animals. And her staff is incredible!
