I hate to give a bad review but I feel I must. Its true that I may have not been as responsible with my teeth as I should have been. Three of their fillings fell out - first time this had ever happened to me. Instead of getting the fillings replaced immediately I waited. Again, this is my irresponsibility. However, in my time of need, when I had to get one of the fillings replaced, after the decay had spread, I did not receive what I would call helpful service. Ledford shakes your hands with a huge forced smile. But I seriously doubt that he cared about the state of my teeth. He even told one of the assistants behind my back that I dont care about them. But he never showed the same concern when working on me. For him I was a lost cause. Whats more - when he did work on my tooth, with this feeling in the back of my mind, I didnt sense a deep consideration over what needed to be done. The tooth that he worked on might later need a route canal if too much was taken off. Yet, he just seemed to rush through the job. Now I dont know the future of my tooth. It hurts sometimes. My new dentist is not like this at all. He insists that I take better care of my teeth - and my habits have changed. Furthermore, he uses more advanced tools. None of his fillings have fallen out. And they feel much smoother to the tongue. In short, while my new dentist cares about my teeth Ledford did not, Im fairly certain. Go ahead and reply if you want to but this is how it is.

I was impressed with my Asheville Dental experience from beginning to end. Scheduling my appointment with the front desk was easy. They originally didnt have an opening for me this week, but put me on a list in case there was a cancellation. When an appointment became available later in the week, they called and asked if was convenient (and it was!). I arrived at 9:05 and they called me back at exactly 9:10 (which was my appointment time). Brandee, my hygienist, was kind and exceptionally thorough. She explained everything in detail and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Ledford was friendly and took the time to discuss my x-rays. He has a warm personality and made me feel at ease - not something that is so easy to do in the dentists chair! Beverly (at the front desk) was wonderful from when she scheduled my appointment to when she checked me out and handled my payment. I couldnt have asked for anything more. Im glad that I made the switch to Asheville Dental!

I am very excited to have chosen Asheville Dental for my dental needs. I havent been to a dentist in about 10 years so I was pretty nervous. The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I scheduled a cleaning and x-ray. As soon as i got in my comfy recliner, it was recommended that i get all the tarter blasted of my teeth. They took pictures of the before and after ( which I requested to be emailed to me to show everyone ). The Doctor ( professional and kind) then examined my teeth and took pictures of everything going on that needed some attention. Any question I had was responded to with language I understood and I felt like everyone really cared about my health. I was then given a stuctured "Treatment Proposal" ( suggesting treatments to be done) over 3 visits. I do not have dental insurance and the pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Asheville Dental and am excited to have them transform my smile.

Dr. Ledford is the most compassionate, professional dentist I have ever been to! His genuine smile and warm bedside manner always make me feel at ease and cared for. I am always seen quickly, and Dr. Ledford takes time to talk with me and do a good job, no matter how many patients he has to see. He has made me feel good about my teeth, something I have struggled with since I was a young child and had an accident which led to extensive dental work. Even after my first visit I knew I would never go to another dentist. I trust Dr. Ledfords skills and recommend him fully! Plus the office is beautiful and the other staff are kind, patient and helpful!

Great experience start to finish...from someone who HATES the dentist! The office was recommended to me by co-workers. I hadnt seen any dentist in the last two years, and had some significant tooth pain. Beverly scheduled an appointment for me all by email for just two days out - super prompt, responsive and courteous. The office was nice, but a little cold. My hygienist Jenny was very sweet and put me at ease. Dr. Kennerly was gentle and thorough, explained my problem and treatment options, and was able to take care of it on the spot. He was very pleasant and Im quite satisfied with his work. Asheville Dental will certainly keep my business.

Being a person who hates to go to the dentist, I have been very pleasantly suprised with my visits to Dr. Kennerly and Dr. Ledford. I started with Dr. Kennerly about 10 years ago and was initially impressed that he didnt lecture me on not seeing a dentist for the first 5 years we lived in AVL. He was very thorough and gave me a complete outline of the dental work I needed, along with cost. My visits were pain free, and in addition, I loved looking out the windows at the birds that came to enjoy the bird feeders! I have seen Dr. Ledford twice in the past few months, and an very impressed with him also.

Everyone in the office is so sweet and helpful, and Dr Kennerly is literally the BEST dentist I have ever been to. I have pretty bad dental anxiety, and while he does offer sedation dentistry, I didnt even need it! I had an intial consult with him about filling 4 cavaties, and he put me completely at ease. I didnt even feel the shots, and i usually go into panic attacks from the shots. It was literally painless, and he is such a nice person. The hygeniest I saw for my cleaning was also wonderful, she was kind and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist office!...S Lewis

Dr Ledford is one of the most genuine and kind people. He has a bedside manner that is kind , and compassionate. I have never had a better experience with a dentist in my life. My entire family is switching to Asheville dental. His work is 1st . He always takes lots of time to talk with the patient and explain treatment options. The facility is professional, clean, and very accommodating. The prices are very reasonable, and from personal experience I can say the prices are actually somewhat lower then other dentists in this area that are not nearly as good as Dr Lefford.

I have been seeing Dr. Kennerly for the past 6-7 years. I moved to Asheville from Georgia and had been seeing the same dentist since childhood so finding someone new that I was comfortable with was challenging. I have thoroughly enjoyed this practice! Dr. Kennerly has always been professional and has never recommended anything that was not needed. I trust him and his staff to take the best care of me and my husband. I also work in the dental profession so Im maybe a little harder to impress but have been really pleased with this practice!
