I would like to give the Center for Holistic Medicine a big thumbs up. I recently had acupuncture at the center and it was truly a positive experience. I have had acupuncture here in Atlanta at a well-known acupuncturist whose office is on Buford Highway. When I went for my second appointment, they kept me waiting for fifty minutes (almost an hour). While waiting, I heard the whole conversation of the patient ahead of me, which was very unprofessional. When I finally was called I discovered that the Dr. I had made my appointment with was not even there. At this point, I was so mad I just left. What a contrast. The Center is spotlessly clean and serenely decorated. Nancy took notes, listened to my problem in the privacy of my own room. She is an acupuncturist who is both caring and knowledgeable. I came to the center a few months ago on a friends recommendation because of some knee problems I had been having. This was following a couple of failed attempts at a sports medicine doctor in the area -- it was really frustrating because I am a runner and hadnt been able to run without pain for quite some time. I had never had acupuncture before and was very unsure about what to expect. Nancy was wonderful -- she helped me understand what was going on with my knees and how she was addressing the issues. I have been coming monthly since then and my knees are feeling better than ever! Ive even been able to work up to my regular running routine and have had no more pain. I recommend Nancy to anyone in the Asheville area

I love this beautiful healing center. I have seen the owner, Nancy, for acupuncture since they opened their doors. She is always punctual, courteous, and attentive. Im amazed how effective it is! I try to see her right away when I am getting sick and she knows just where to work for me to either not get sick at all or just a little bit. I appreciate her herbal knowledge and find the chinese herbal formulas very effective. And if the standard formula doesnt have everything she needs for you, shell make one right there for you to take home! Really impressive. Beautiful space and nice decor. Very professional. Im so happy they are close by!

Everytime I enter The Center for Holistic Medicine Im always amazed at how relaxed I immediately feel. Not only does the atmosphere help me relax, but my trust in knowing that my practitioners are going to take the time to really listen to what I need and give me quality care and advice, helps me unwind quickly to allow my healing process to begin. I know that Im not another number on a list, I am treated as an important individual with specific needs for me alone and I feel very cared for every time I leave the space. I always look forward to coming back again and again.

I go to the center for accupuncture and was amazed at the focus on the patient. Especially when compared to westernized medicine and practictioners. The accupuncturist,Nancy, gave me a through interview that dealt with every aspect of my life and health.It was a refreshing change. Nancy is a true professional and very nurturing and caring. Since starting accupuncture I am now off of the annoying pharmaceutical medicines I was taking everyday for over 15 years! YEAH! I highly recommend the Center for Holistic medicine to all of my friends and family.

Each time I have seen Nancy Hyton for a medical conditions she listens carefully and considers my entire medical history before devising a treatment plan. I recommend this practice for anyone interested in alternatives to Western Medicine. There is a wide array of practitioners which makes this a one stop practice for many cures. My experience has been excellent with Nancy, the acupuncturist, as her treatment has been an integral piece in healing my stubborn case of plantar fasciitis.

I went to the Center for massage therapy. I was happy with the service. I am a senior citizen so I arrived a bit uncomfortable at the idea of someone else working on my body, but I was put at ease immediately and ended up pleased with the experience. I would recommend the Center to my fellow senior citizens.
