I have been here three times in the last 2 weeks. I ordered glasses. When they came in two weeks ago, I tried them on and the fit and lenses were great. I got home and noticed that the emblem on the side was very noticeably damaged. I drove right back and pointed it out to them. It was an obvious defect that they overlooked. I asked them to order me a new pair of frames and they proceeded to call another store to request a display frame. To me, a display frame is not new. It has been tried on. I wanted top quality and I wanted a NEW pair- I was not at a thrift store. I told them to order one, and they tried to tell me that a display frame was new. I insisted that they order a new frame. I went home with the defected glasses that day. I went back today after receiving a call that my frames were in. I got there and they removed my lenses to realize that the frame ordered was the wrong size. How does this get overlooked? Unfortunately, the folks at working here are missing details which are essential in eye care. They then grabbed their display pair off the rack and said "well just give you these". Irked, I told them that I wanted a brand new pair like I had originally ordered. They tried to convince me to take the display. They said that they were new and could not seem to understand that I wanted something truly new, not tried on my multiple people. If I drop a couple hundred dollars on glasses, I expect brand new and top quality. Needless to say, they have ordered (i HOPE...) a new frame. They gave back the defected frames with my lenses and they were the WRONG lenses! I put them on and said "this is not my prescription, I cant drive home like this" and they took them into the back to realize they made yet another error. I may have the correct glasses next week...three weeks after originally ordering them. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this eye care associates and have been a customer there for many years. I am seriously considering going somewhere else in the future- a location where associates pay attention to detail and dont try to convince customers to take a display pairs that has been tried on by everyone else just to get you out of the store.

I am more than pleased with my entire experience with this Eye Care Associates. I called on a Thursday to make an appointment and was able to get in that following Saturday. When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and had a constant smile on his face. I waited in the waiting area for about 10 minutes ( I was a few minutes early). I was then greeted by a friendly tech who took me into the work-up room and examined my eyes there. She was very friendly and polite and did her job efficiently. Once she was done I was asked to go into another room where she prepared the items for Dr. Lopez to come in and do my exam. Dr. Lopez was very friendly and talkative but did an excellent job. I decided I would like to try contacts at this visit, and she offered to put in the first pair as it was my very first time trying them. Once she got them in the girls up from assisted me in taking them out and putting them back in. They were more than patient with me as a beginner, which left me feeling very good about myself. I cant say enough about the staff and the cleanliness of the office. I had an over great experience at this office and will definitely be back next year for my yearly exam. Thank you Dr. Lopez & staff.

The customer service at this place was horrible! I go in there and they wanted me to self address my next appointment reminder card. Then they asked me to fill out all my information that I had filled out the last time I had an appointment. I asked then to use the info I had filled out previously that was in the system and they said I needed to just fill it out again. When I asked for my insurance their system suddenly were down. This place just wants the customer to do all the work for them. I told them I would come back when the system was up again. I then left and returned in 10 mins and was given the paperwork again and systems were still down. I started filling out the paperwork again and the lady calls me up to the counter to inform me that since I am now 15 mins late I would need to reschedule although the same people that were sitting and waiting the first time I walked were still waiting. That was their way of telling me they didnt like it that I asked they to do their job.

If you go to the Wal-Mart parking lot to have your eyes checked out - you get Wal-Mart parking lot service! First, every time you walk in there they are trying to sell you the protection plan, which essentially is two bottles of cleaning solution for $50 bucks. I am ok with them offering it, but I am not ok with having to tell them five times that I dont want it. Second, after a year of wearing contact lenses they made me pay for check up on how to use contacts. I thought that would be fine. Perhaps I was doing something wrong. She makes me take out the contacts. Then she makes me put them in. Then she rang up $50 bucks - without ever saying what I was doing right or wrong. I had to ask her! It is painfully obvious that they dont care at all. I went there last year and left saying to my self I should never come back. I dont know why I came back, because I knew better!

I was able to get an appointment initially on the same day, by the friendly reception young man, who gave me a brochure on costs, set me up with a card, and quoted me $145. When I came back before my appointment, the wait was 15 minutes after my appointment time, but I was okay with that. However, once I got into the office where the tech was getting ready to do the initial tests, I got the "bait and switch." She told me that the cost would be $145 PLUS anywhere from $69 to $129 because I was a new patient, etc. I told her that I was quoted $145, I showed her the brochure, and she stuck to her guns. I told her that if this was their policy, and they werent trying to bait and switch customers, they needed to be told about the extra fees when making the appointment, not after having wasted all of this time. I walked away, and wont ever return to that particular office.

I have been going to this office for years. At first, it was a very efficient and friendly place. But over the past two years, the receptionist staff is now incompetent. Was told, a week ago, at my sons yearly exam, his records were not in their system, even though he has been going there for 3 yrs. Had to fill out an entire history for him because of this. Should have seen it coming since now I have been told to fill out forms every time I go there, even though everything is the same. I think they use this to occupy patients time due to the looooong wait to actually see the doctor. Its a shame because this used to be a great place to have our eyes checked and prescriptions filled...I do not know what happened, but its disappointing.
