I came to see Aaron for various problems I was having. Aching in my knees, clicking in my hips, pain in my legs when I got up from sitting, pain and lack of range of motion in my back, needing to open my hips, and random pains I get from falling when figure skating. From the first visit, I felt a difference in my body. I had no idea how much tightness I had in my back, hips, and glutes. He gave me homework to do and I was very consistent. At first, it was a little hard for me to slow down and take the time out for myself, but I quickly got used to it. After the first week, I made some serious realizations about myself not only physically, but emotionally. I felt guilty taking time out to make myself feel better, always thinking there was something more important I could be doing (i.e. working, cleaning, etc.). Working with Aaron made me start to take more value in my well being. Every week, he would work on a new spot in my body, and give appropriate homework to go along with it. Aaron is always so patient with me and takes the time to explain to to properly do exercises/movements and what it should feel like. During most of our visits, I ask him so many questions, and he always has an answer or solution. He even takes the time to understand my physical needs for my figure skating hobby. Since seeing him, all of the problems I came to him for are basically gone. I still have to remember to use proper form when walking or standing, but Im sure that will be natural soon. The thing that I love the most is, I had some pains that I didnt even realize I was having until they were gone. I am sleeping so much better because I dont wake up from having any pain. Now we are maintaining my improvements and working on improving my figure skating moves. I still want to increase my range of motion in a lot of areas and I am excited to work with Aaron for a long time.

On the off chance you are skimming this review for the first initial statement, I want to be clear right off the bat -- Aaron LeBauer is exceptional at his job. I went to Aaron for a truckload of issues. When I arrived I had problems ranging from Costochondritis to a metatarsal ligament injury. I was a mess to say the least. I had been to see "specialists" on different issues with very little help. I was offered everything from shrugs on shoulders to narcotics. I didnt want drugs or surgery -- I just wanted to be strong again. Coming from a fitness background, my lack of freedom in movement was as depressing as it was painful. My sessions with Aaron were life altering to say the least. The work he does in the office is brilliant, to say the least. The homework he assigns and lessons in firing muscles is equally important. In short, if you embrace his treatments wholeheartedly you will receive tremendous benefit. From a professional point of view, I am in the fitness industry as an author and trainer. I have seen many seminars, heard many physical therapists speak, and was already familiar with the type of work Aaron does. Let me assure you, you can understand these things, and you can earn your degrees, but there is a passion, science, and art to healing the body -- Aaron understands them all. A physical therapist of his caliber is a rare find and man am I glad he is in Greensboro. You wont be disappointed in his treatment or your general experience. Dont minimize the importance of taking care of your body. Dont wait -- get your problems looked at and feel better again (or perhaps for the first time).

Unfortunately, I am limited to only 5 stars... Aaron is such a talented, insightful and caring human, and medical practitioner. After experiencing years of pain, I felt relief and continued improvement after my first visit (before even leaving the office), and can now even treat myself if pain does start to manifest!! Aaron uses hands on therapy, coupled with a prescription of customized exercises empowering the patient to affect the healing process, and ultimately take control of their pain. Im doing things Ive been unable to do in years without pain, and am working towards doing extreme activities I never thought Id be able to do again with Aarons mindful help and guidance. Aarons practice uses a model that does not limit his interaction and effectiveness like most medical practitioners (who are usually spread between multiple clients and limited to ~ 15 minutes of dedicated 1:1 time). Its not "co-pay cheap" but, Im beyond satisfied paying full price to get immediate results vs. paying lingering co-pay costs with indefinite pain. My treatment with Aaron has been worth every dollar and minute I spend, and I see it as an investment in my long term health and quality of life! Make an appointment if youre frustrated with pain, loss of activities and a limited life... Aaron will shoot straight and set you up with a realistic plan to work towards your goals, what ever they may be. Thanks, Aaron (and Andra, & Sarah)!!

I had suffered a low back injury in January of 2013 while lifting weights. I struggled for months with stretches and rest on my own, but it seemed to get worse. I saw a physical therapist at a different clinic and was told I had a pinched nerve, it would never get 100% better, and that I would probably have to deal with it for the rest of my life. The pain decreased slightly after a few weeks of exercises, but I always had pain while standing for long periods, sitting for long periods, and doing the most basic exercises. Running and lifting were out of the question. After 3.5 years of pain I finally came across Dr. LeBauers practice. After the first session, he had isolated the cause of the injury, found it was simply a muscle spasm causing my pain, and did a full assessment from head to toe of any imbalances in my body. After two more sessions with him and following his advice on stretches to do at home, I was pain free for the first time in years. I continue to see him for check ins, but I can now run, lift, sleep better, and do everything Im supposed to be able to do. I know this sounds over the top, but being able to go through my day without pain and to enjoy the workout routine that I love has changed my life. Being able to get fixed without medication, surgeries, or expensive treatment methods made it even better.

If you have any type of pain, I highly encourage you to make an appointment with Dr. Aaron LeBauer. I know it may not seem fitting that a physical therapist could treat all types of pain, but let me remind you that although science doesnt change, our understanding of it continues to develop, and Dr Lebauer works from the BEST of both worlds. He uses his knowledge of the body learned in his medical training, along with his extensive experience with new research and technologies and centuries-old healing modalities to get to the bottom of what is REALLY causing your pain. Many times it is something much simpler and completely unrelated to something you thought or have been previously told. I went to see Dr. LeBauer for terrible lower back pain, and by treating areas I would never have thought were connected, my pain has almost completely disappeared. He listens well, and also gives you preventative tips and exercises you can do at home to speed your healing and continue to stay in the best of health. Dont delay if you have any chronic issue or pain; make an appointment with Dr. LeBauer today!
