We were in need of a new vet as our previous vet clinic was outgrowing their practice in Fuquay and could no longer handle the demands of their patients that had been with them for many many years. When I called our current vet and was told it would be nearly 2 weeks before we could get an appointment with the vet we had been with for years; well, it was time to select a new vet hospital and we certainly are glad we did! Hemlock Bluffs in HS is AWESOME! From the time you walk in the front door you and your pet will feel like they are HOME!!! Seriously!!! It looks like your home indoors! Not in any way like a "vet" office! We do love it and we got the very very best of care from the vet technicians and to our doctor that was assigned to us. We love her and she knows her stuff!!!! So glad we made this move!! I did not know what we were missing out on! Such detailed vet report on our doggies when they go for each visit! And they take photos of the before and after of the illness! WOW! Love it! Keep up the great work Hemlock Bluffs! Oh and check this out!.......the very next day; after our very first visit???...one of the vet techs called me to check up on our dog to make sure she was feeling better! DO WHAT!!! WOW! Never had that happen! And when they called, I just so happened to be standing right next to my sister who had just days earlier received a new chocolate lab puppy, 10 weeks old. I handed the phone to my sister and she immediately became a new client of Hemlock Bluffs Vet Clinic in Holly Springs also. She made her new puppy wellness visit right then and there! She and "Dixie" love them too!

When we took our cats here, the doctors were great and Ive got nothing but nice things to say about them. The staff however are a different story entirely - they were rude and unwilling to accommodate simple requests. For example, when we needed to board our cat, I asked for photos to be taken during play time, which is an extra charge that we paid for. They wouldnt do it because "they dont have a camera at the vet." When I suggested that perhaps they use their cell phones to take pictures, they said "its not really appropriate to use personal property for that purpose." Wow... seriously? Furthermore, we had given them just enough food to cover the boarding period. When we came to pick up our cat, we got some food back. We didnt give them any extra, so they must have missed some meals. I have no reason to think our cat didnt spend 3 days straight locked in a cage and hungry. And this wasnt our only negative experience here... needless to say, we wont be back.

We have been consistently delighted with our experience at Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital. Weve taken our dog there since we got her as a puppy, and theyve been very thorough with her care. The staff are wonderful and friendly, and have been able to get us in quickly when our dog wasnt feeling well. They always do follow-up calls the next day to check in on her and to see if we have any questions. I definitely feel like everyone there cares about my pet, and that they have the knowledge and experience to give her the care we think she deserves. I was really impressed by the laser spay surgery. Our puppy had no redness or swelling at all - and she healed up much more quickly than I expected. In fact, the only issue we had was that she felt so good she was more rambunctious than she should have been after major surgery!! Our pet trainer recommended Hemlock Bluffs to us, and Im grateful he did - weve been very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone!

There are so many reasons I love this vet clinic I dont know where to begin. The staff are extremely friendly and so loving to our dog. They are compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. We feel like they love our pet as we do. We love the décor and the cleanliness of this hospital. The boarding facilities are fantastic and I love the attention my pet receives when we have to leave for the weekend. We travel a lot now and its comforting knowing the attention she gets while we are away. I know she is in wonderful care and gets plenty of playtime and love. The staff kiss on her and treat her with open arms upon our arrival everytime!! She thinks its her home away from home. So happy we found this vet and my kids even look forward to our visits here. The staff know our kids by name and are so kind to them. You really wont find a more friendly and caring vet as Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital. You will be impressed!!

This is one of those vets that push "practice building" unnecessary tests for your pet. For example they pushed a heartworm test for my dogs and cats. There is no effective treatment for heartworm in cats, so if the test is positive you have very few options. They push two complete exams a year because a pets life is "shorter" than a humans. They push many obscure tests and get you to do bloodwork many times if there is a slight problem. We have spent thousands on our pets since switching to these guys. Ridiculous if your pet has no symptoms and you are providing the basics. To me, the basics are what is required by law -- rabies (and get the 3-year, not the one-year, whatever a kennel may require, and monitoring your cats health youself.. Now we are using a sensible vet who does the basics, monitors general health, and tells you the real story

This is by far the best vet around. We have moved around Wake County over the last 20 years and switched vets several times and have never been as impressed as much as we have with Dr.Snyder. We had to have our Yorkie put down six years ago and this practice went above and beyond helping us thru this most difficult time. Finally a year ago, we brought in a new puppy unexpectedly. If it wasnt for Dr. Snyders advise, Im not sure we would have known how to handle this breed with small children. We love this puppy and she now has the best temperament that I TOTALLY contribute to this wonderful vet!!! If you are looking for a practice that truly loves all animals, goes beyond normal care and will love your pet like their own... go to Hemlock Bluffs!! So thankful I did.

I took our dog Lulu (a rescue) who has not been to the Vet yet and I was beyond impressed with with them. The moment you walk in they are very attentive and make your pet (and you) very welcome. The check in process is very efficient and the office itself is very warm and inviting. Lulu was seen very quickly and the examination was extremely thorough and comfortable. Being a rescue, I was not sure how Lulu would handle it, but the way they cared for her was amazing and they did everything right to avoid her getting stressed out. I left there with zero questions because they take the time to explain it all. I didnt feel rushed. I was impressed by everyone one I met from the Vet to the front desk staff. Looking forward to bringing our other dog.
