The ONLY good thing about this practice is Joan at the front desk. I have been going to this facility for about 15 years now seeing Dr. Padameden. The only reason I kept going to him is because I literally could walk to the office from my house. I am also rarely ever sick other than needing my Advair prescription re-filled from time to time. Last fall, I was actually having some bluriness in my left eye so I wanted to make sure there was nothing seriously wrong with me. I had already been told by 2 eye doctors that my lasik procedure that I had done 13 years ago was fading some and that my vision was no longer 20/20 but there was some continued bluriness so I wanted a 3rd opinion. As soon as I decribed what was going on, Dr. P immediately told me that I more than likely had MS....yes...Multiple Sclerosis. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. He suggested that I get all this blood work done and then schedule with another eye doctor friend of his at OSU...can we say kickback. Anyhow, he had the nurse take my blood there in the office which cost me $1200 out of pocket and of course the blodd work came back normal. I had left him 2 vms asking him to call me to explain everything but never heard back from him. Yes, blurry vision is like a secondary symptom of MS but Ive never heard of a doctor immediately telling a patient thats more than likely what they have. I basically never went to see this other doctor he referred me to. I did however basically fire Dr. P and decided to give this gal in the same office a chance but my first apt. with her, I waited in the lobby for 55min before just getting fed up & walking out. I am completely DONE with these No TALENT ASS Clowns at this facility.

I cannot stress how AWFUL this place is. If you must use OSU, find another branch, but DO NOT GO HERE. Ive been to this office as a patient of Dr. Shankers a grand total of about 6 times in three years and have finally met my b.s. limit. From being left in an examination room for nearly an hour then greeted with surprise when someone finally opened the door (even after repeated attempts to remind folks that I was still waiting) to having appointments scheduled for other OSU departments without my knowledge or consent. I am fed up. Dr. Shankers manner can best be described as awkward and absentminded. Her staff seems to be comprised of ladies who have nothing better to do than loudly complain about their love lives. Oh, and forget about calls test results if you refuse OSUs MyChart system. I had to make 4 calls just to get the results of routine bloodwork. Someone else had mentioned the front desk personnel in a positive light and I was amazed. In my experience the only thing they are good at is demanding a co-pay. They rarely even acknowledge patients waiting unless there is money changing hands. Appalling does not begin to describe the level of customer service (or complete lack thereof) you will experience at this terribly unprofessional office.

I dont usually like going to the doctor & I sure dont like having to find a new doctor after moving, but this office made my visit very enjoyable. Dr. Shanker is such a sweetie. She listened about issues Ive been having & made suggestions, but she let me decide what I wanted. She ordered a blood work up at my appt on Thursday & I received the results in the mail that Saturday!!! I dont think Ive EVER gotten tests back that quickly. Also, they were able to get me in easily. Another clinic I called said that if I wanted a female doctor, Id have to wait until June or July (!!!!), so I was thrilled to get in 3 days from the day I called. This was not a sick visit & havent had one yet. I will update with details on how quickly I get in when Im sick. Im so happy that I dont have to be anxious about going to the doctor now. 2 Weeks later - I went for my "annual" physical. It was the fastest, least awkward one ever! It took longer to change into my gown. I love this place!

I have been seeing Dr. Shanker for a fer years now. I like her. Sometimes I do wish she seemed a little more sure of things, but she always listens and I like that. She is very thoughtful about any next steps when needed. I have also seen the CNP Tamara Alexander. She is fabulous. The front desk staff isnt super attentive, but they have never been rude. All of the physician assistants (with the exception of maybe one who seemed to just go through the motions) are great. There was one time Dr. Shanker was just back from vacation and I had to wait for more than an hour, but it was an isolated incident.

I have enjoyed going to this office for over three years. Dr. Kirti Shanker has a great medical professional with a great bed-side manner. She listens attentively to my concerns and has responsible nurse or nurse assistants to help her.

I have been a patient since 2005 and have only good things to say about them! If it werent for Dr. Padamadans initial diagnosis in 2012 I might not be here today.

I totally enjoy my visits here. As a black listed Ohio Health customer I cant believe I havent been going here from the beginning. The staff is just fantastic.
