Shame on health insurance companies HMO dental plans for limiting their customers to this level of care. I would not recommend any of the Cincinnati Dental Services locations or providers to anyone who can help it. In fact, stay away from HMO dental health plans altogether. They purposely limit you to these type of providers. Its cheaper for a reason, and your mouth is not something to take the cheaper most limited route with. I learned the hard way and am paying dearly for it. Being able to write this review and possibly help someone else avoid what ive been through with this provider and the other providers in Cignas HMO dental network that they limit their customers to (Aspen Dental, especially) is the only positive that has come from it. Youve been warned.

Dr. Abro doesnt listen to his patients and doesnt explain much, even if asked. I received a bill for something my insurance should have covered; the office manager would not contact insurance or resubmit; when I called insurance, they informed me that there was information missing from the claim. I asked a passing assistant to help (she did!) and gave insuance the info they needed myself. How hard was that? When the work they did failed within four months, they charged me for an office visit, and have to ask the "president" to waive the fee. They cant prevent a bill from going out, "The system sends it by itself." Decent physical facilities, though, everything is clean. Small kids area.

I have been going to Cincinnati Dental since January of this year and love it! My insurance was changed at work and I completely forgot, so the cavity fillings were going to be 240 dollars and I was not expecting that. I spoke to the manager and she helped me get the cost down to 60! She did not have to do that, it was completely my fault. I was so happy with my experience there. My wife and her family are now attending Cincinnati Dental. I recommend them to everyone I know

Overly aggressive on cavities. Pushed for immediate cavity filling and used fear tactics. Felt like a scam. After being told I needed 6 cavities filled immediately or I would lose my teeth, I went to another dentist for a second opinion and was told I did not need a single one filled because they were so small and not even technically "cavities" yet. My other dentist said many small sites of decay like I have often do not decay any further and never need to be filled.

Their dentists are rude. The staff keeps you waiting without saying anything. If I have an appointment and they are running behind a courtesy call would not kill them. Especially when the appointment is for a 4 year old who can hardly be contained for an extra 40 minutes in a dentists office
