The billing department of this place is unprofessional and refuses to fix their mistakes. I had an irregular pap smear, to which they ran an additional test as a result. Except they coded the additional test as NOT being ran due to an irregular pap smear. They refuse to recognize the fact that the additional test was coded incorrectly. Here is the message I got from their office: "The testing was performed , due to the fact that the cells on your cervix came back slightly abnormal. If a patient comes back with an Ascus pap, it is necessary for the lab to run HPV. The HPV is ran to determine if there is a virus that is causing the change on your cervix . If the virus is present further testing may be needed , to make sure that there is no type of pre cancerous cell on your cervix. " There, in the first sentence, they recognize THE TESTING WAS PERFORMED BECAUSE OF THE FIRST TEST COMING BACK ABNORMAL (ASCUS). They also state: "We cant code for something that we are not sure will be there or not, that is why the PAP/ HPV is not coded as R87.610" So they ran the HPV test not knowing if it was even needed? And the irregular result was just a coincidence? Their explanation makes NO sense. Then when Im trying to get more details, they come back and say: "Any Questions regarding tests or test results you will have to make appointment to talk to the Doctor." Absolutely ridiculous. The billing staff is incompetent, unprofessional and rude. The actual service by the doctors has always been great, and Ive been going for four years now, but I will NEVER be back because of this treatment. I guess they count on their patients being too dumb to understand the coding they use, they can continue getting money from those people I guess but no longer from me. I have reached out to a medical coding advocacy group and patient advocacy group, and will pursue this until it is corrected.

This was, by far my worst doctors experience ever. I am 8 wks pregnant with my second child and received less then 10 minutes worth of care for my FIRST visit today. They made errors in scheduling my appointment and the lady checking in next to me. The scheduler had no idea what would be done at this visit. In your first phone call they ask your race, if you are employed full or part-time, where do you work and what do you do there. Be prepared to answer that again in your online paperwork, again at check in and again for the nurse, then again for the doctor. No idea why it is that important as I was never allowed to ask ANY questions. No one told me their name from check in to nurse to doctor. No one shook my hand or said, "Hi, how are you?" I was given very little information except to schedule delivery at the hospital they like because the doctor would have to come in from home at the hospital I chose. (I wouldnt want to be an inconvenience by asking someone to do their job.) I was told to do a bunch of tests with no explanation. The doctor talked so quickly I could not understand him. He told me to schedule an ultrasound, but said I didnt really need it. (Then why do it?) He rushed through the exam, telling me what he was doing after he did it. I was never given an opportunity to ask any questions. And the best part, neither the doctor or the nurse washed their hands before touching me. Please dont misunderstand. I appreciate efficiency and respect for my time when I go to the doctor. But I am not a number and a dollar sign. At this office, that is all I was. If you just want to "get in and get out," by all means go here. If you want to feel like a human being and that your pregnancy matters, go somewhere else!

Our doctor recommended this office for our pregnancy, so we tried them out. Terrible. We waited over 2 hours in the waiting room. Nurses/staff are quite gruff and impersonal, youre just a number with paper work to them. We were similarly displeased with the doc. We got a phone call a few days before our next appointment and were told it had to be rescheduled as the doc was unavailable and we couldnt just have another one of the 13 doctors there see us, even though they recommend you rotate through all of them. We told the nurse on the phone not to reschedule as were were planning to find a different place to go anyway, which was met with a chuckle and an "ok." At our new doc office (which we LOVE) we had to have cincyobgyn fax there records to the new doc. It took a number of phone calls and voicemails from our new doc office to get cincyobgyn to return our docs phone calls. Honestly, a terrible place. Ive never been to a worse doc office.

I have been going to this office since I moved back from Columbus. My OBGYN in Worthington, actually referred me to this office and I have not been anywhere else since. That was over 11 years ago. I have seen pretty much every dr. in this practice and have had no complaints. Through out my pregnancies and ck ups these drs have been professional and really easy to talk to. Dr. Johnson is by far my favorite and I refer him (& this office) to any one looking for a new OBGYN. Dr. Johnson delivered my oldest and was scheduled to deliver my other two, but you know they decided to come in their own time :-) He still came to ck on me while I was at the hospital with them. That to me says something about the type of person & Dr. he is.

Am a current, now former patient. Called to schedule my daughters first appointment. Rude receptionist answered my call. Apparently my cell call was cutting out. Not exactly a reason to bark out "youre cutting out normal people simply state "could you please repeat that, Im sorry your phone was cutting out". Secondly, after I state that Id like to make an appointment she asked if I have my childs insurance information in front of me. Well no Im at work and Im well aware of the fact that the information pack can be filled out on line beforehand. So then Im told to call back when I have the insurance info in front of me and hangs up. Well no, Ill take my business elsewhere.

The scheduling department is terrible. They accused me of not paying my bill - and I hadnt even had my surgery yet! Shanin and her supervisor Donna Blanton are cohorts, so dont waste your time trying to talk to either of them. If my doctor of 7 years hadnt transferred here, I would definitely cancel my surgery and find a new doctor. Someone needs to teach these people how an office works and how to show a LITTLE compassion. Im having surgery and all they care about is the money. They even had to audacity to tell me I could make payments, and I dont need to make payments. I told them Ill pay the whole bill when it comes. They still made me feel like a cheat.

I have nothing but great things to say about this caring group of people that have been with me since I hit puberty many years ago. They have guided me through birth control, two pregnancies with gestational diabetes, two successful deliveries, and now pregnancy prevention! They were always able to work with my hectic life schedule to ensure I was scheduled for the times that were most convenient for me. I have seen every doctor in the practice and dont have anything but nice things to say about them all. I have recommended them to many friends & co-workers and they have all had great experiences.
