We have had our dog to a couple of vets in the last few months... choosing a vet for convenience is a terrible idea. He was diagnosed with a bone growth problem. He was not feeling well so we took him to another vet because they were close and had walk-ins. They made us muzzle our dog then wrestled him to the floor to get his temp and vitals.... the poor dog was in shock and a total wreck the rest of the day. The next day he seemed worse and it was Saturday. We found Creekside and they had an available appointment. The Dr was absolutely awesome with our already traumatized and unhappy dog. We told her what had happened and she was so gentle, so loving to our dog....she gave him treats and sat on the floor with him until he was comfortable. She was able to look at him and when he started to get fussy she stopped and allowed him to get comfortable with her again.... it was wonderful to watch the obvious love they have for animals. Creekside is now my vet of choice and I have already recommended them to a couple of friends as I have told the story of what a bad vet looks like and what a great vet looks like. Odin now has a new best friend over at Creekside. By the way...happy visits to the vet to help a dog get comfortable going is a wonderful idea...ask them about it.

Dr Michelle Messner is one of the finest Veterinary Doctors in the USA She has been a long time friend to us for over 20+ years She has now taken excellent care of 3 of our Labrador retrievers since 1994. We respect her and all the ladies that have been by her side for most of the years we have known her.. Dr Messner also help to arrange travel documents and all test that were required for our boy Bud when we went to Australia 2007... Her & every one where always there for us even though we lived in Australia she always sent Buds medications that was required.. Dr Messner made herself available when there was an issue with Bud when he had an unexpected seizure in LAX prior to leaving, the so called care giver did not tell me till I was already in Australia ( Bud was to of been on the same flight ) As soon as I contacted Dr Messner she did every thing to get Bud to us.. Dr Messner was a tremendous help by getting all of his documents sent to the government Agent and airlines.. We truly praise her for all of her love for our furbaby boys over the years.. Thank you Heaps for every thing Dr Michelle M ,Mickie,Tracy, Carol, Jen, Margaret , if we have forgotten any one forgive us.. Jim & Christina Owens..

For over 20 years I have been bringing my furry family members to Creekside. Dr. Messner, along with the entire staff have always provided exceptional care for our animals. The new facility is beautiful and is well organized. They are knowledgeable, professional and compassionate when dealing with our pets. They have even dealt with my feral rescues - not always easy! And when tough decisions have to be made they are compassionate and caring. One of my cats was sick and ended up having a reaction to his shots. We had to admit him to the Metro Vet Hospital for observation - and we were scheduled to go out of town. Dr. McCoy took the time to personally check on him there each day and called me herself with updates each day. I was blown away that she called and it really eased our minds since we had to leave him. It was a bit scary and they walked us through the experience with full support. Dont think about another office if you are looking - choose Creekside to care for your fur babies!

I had a simple neuter done at this vet- (he only had one testicle descended, so they had to make two incisions, one up on his stomach) ONE WEEK later the incision opened up because they didnt stitch him up right! Then they made me pay for ANOTHER office visit where i had to wait 4 hours because it was a holiday to fix THEIR mistake, they glued it shut- it popped open again within hours (because they didnt stich it up from the inside out, so the inside was trying to heal) so then they had to put in staples, and i had to come in AGAIN to get them removed. 4 visits for a shoddy neuter. They seem nice enough but if they cant do a routine surgery, and treat me like they did when i expressed my views on the neuter, i will NEVER GO BACK Hillside animal clinic in barberton is WAY better.

This clinic restores your faith in humanity. My rescue mutt was recently treated for a painful ear infection. The staff was extremely gentle and kind. Not only did his attending doctor kneel down on the floor to help our boy; an associate doctor came into the exam room just to give him hugs and kisses! I am contacted after every exam by a tech to check on our boy’s progress. The clinic itself is very clean. The outside grass area has doggie bags and trash containers. Clearly a significant amount of thought goes into every detail of this practice. The price point is more affordable than what I was paying in Medina ~~Defiantly worth the quick 15 min trip to Wadsworth/Norton.

We have always taken our dogs Maggie and Roxy to Creekside Animal Clinic. We really like Dr. Cummings and so do our dogs. We really have received great care from all their vets. Recently we lost our Maggie (the day before July 4th). She wasnt acting herself, we called Creekside and we were advised to get her to Metropolitan Hospital after descibing her symptons, which we immediately did. Within about 1/2 hour our Maggie died on her own One of the saddest days of our lives. Dr. Cummings shared our grief when we told her about Maggie. Everyone at Creekside is very helpful and you can tell they care about our pets. Thank you Crreekside Animal Clinic.Bev G

Dr. Messner accepted me and my dogs and cats as a new client. It was the best thing I ever did for my beloved dogs and cats. Her staff is friendly , compassionate , caring and informative. All her veterinarian staff is knowledgeable, caring, experienced and patient with my pets and with me ( I tend to fret and worry). I can not say enough how great this " veterinarian staff "is. I am so thankful I found and chose Creekside and Dr. Messner as my veterinarian for the care and well being of my pets and me. I feel so lucky to have Drs Messner and Cummings as providers for my cat-kids. I drive all the way from Cleveland to see these two; I trust them implicitly and they are well worth the drive. Furthermore, they have the kindest front office staff, caring and knowledgeable techs, and everyone consistently goes out of their way to make sure you and your animal are happy and healthy. I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. If you take your animals here, you will be confident they are getting the best treatment possible.

We recently relocated to NE Ohio and were in search of a knowledgeable, caring and convenient place to manage the wellness of our cat. Creekside filled all of those criteria. The staff were extremely caring and gentle as well as attentive. The doctor went above and beyond during our appointment and left us assured that our cat was well taken care of.
