Its on the corner of Queen & Elm, in a half brick building. It has almost a Salon-type feel--it looks like a Salon kind of, & smells like one for sure (maybe there is a Salon upstairs that I didnt know about? Lol)... Anyway, the people were wonderful! Very helpful & friendly. My dog just had puppies, and it was amazing that they had a Reproduction Specialist (Dr. Peterson) there! The visit was half the cost of a lot of other places that would otherwise be mediocre in my opinion. Only $50.00 for the visit, and her treatment was only $17.50, which included antibiotics. Plus most other vets seem to charge an arm & a leg for new animal-patients... This was my dogs first visit--still only half the price ($50.00)! ALSO, the staff there were wonderful on the phone, and wonderful in person--attentive & really seem to genuinely care about the animals & people they help! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I took my dog to Reid for the first time to get him neutered. The results were HORRIBLE! They mangled his area down there were he was sewn up. They put a collar on him that was too small, he ended up busting a stitch out because the collar was too small and I took him back so they took more of them out and now its even worse. I had to buy 3 different collars for him and now I have to take him to another vet due to all the problems with the terrible work done to my dog. I am horrified and very upset about this. Not to mention I ended up spending WAY more money than I should of to begin with. They even made me pay for every collar I had to get there even though they kept putting the wrong size one on him. Please...If you love your pet DO NOT take them here!

Awesome,Great, and Amazing, what a great experience for me and my dog. I am so glad you were recommended by another Vet in the area that did not have any appointments available for when we needed. Everyone there is so so friendly you definitely get that warm feeling from the whole staff. Dr. Watering was great, she answered any and all my questions, she truly cares about your animal. My only regret is I walked out without getting her nails trimmed and I know you would have done a great job. Maybe we will be back in the area again soon and come by. Thanks again to all.. I take both my cat and dog here. I started coming to Reid when I moved to Albany 3 years ago and even though I now live out of town I travel in just to come here. I love the fact that I can usually get an appointment with 48 hours if needed, are always willing to work around my busy schedule, and that I never feel rushed when with the doctor. I have two high maintenance animals and am in at least every other month and have never had a bad experience. My dog loves everyone at Reid and is happy to go in whenever we have to.

We started taking our 2 Poms and 3 Cats to Reid in 2006. My wife and I were a little apprehensive and annoyed about their rates. Yes they were high. To that I say "So What?" Our pets have received the absolute BEST care possible there. My wife and I had to put one of our kitties down a couple of years ago and they treated us with RESPECT and DIGNITY. A Vet the takes GREAT care of animals AND their owners........That is a Vet I can recommend to everyone. Reid Vet Hospital IS more expensive, but it is worth EVERY penny.
