A couple of years ago I rescued 3 kittens and they needed immediate care. My normal vet was booked solid, so I decided to come here. It was great..at first. The Dr. is great. The office..an absolute joke and can be quite rude. Every time I go in they have something screwed up on my account, didnt book my appointment or give me the wrong information, as in an animal that isnt mine. We got a puppy a few months ago and he needed his first rounds of shots. When he was due for his second round, we were quoted twice that it would be 52-54 dollars. When we were done, the bill was almost 100 dollars and they scrambled for excuses as to why. When I told them what we had previously been quoted twice, the lady simply said that whoever I talked to didnt know what they were talking about. About a month later, our puppy had a sudden episode and needed emergency attention. The doctor graciously met us after hours and said he would like to do some tests on him the following day to which we agreed. He was supposed to be there half a day and have 1 panels ran. Finally, after not hearing anything all day and not getting an answer, I got through around 4 30. The first thing I was told was that he can be picked up and that we now owe almost 750 dollars in bills, so make sure you bring that with you. Outraged, I asked how my dog was? If he was okay and if they found anything out? She said she didnt know. All day he was there, couldnt get through to anyone, nobody called about our dog and nobody ever called to update on us all of the other bogus things they tested on our dog so we could confirm the actions, get quotes and work out a plan. And the first thing she was concerned about was the money, not our dog. Then she tells me they will not do payments. I will never go to this vet again and will be going back to my normal vet with Dr. Rivers. This place is a joke.

I was extremely disappointed. We brought our dog in because she was throwing up & would not eat or drink. The vet gave us antibiotics to try. Our dog still wasnt doing well the next day so we brought her in again. I decided to leave our dog with them over the weekend because she was still very ill. Our dog ended up passing away (this is NOT my complaint- I hope they did all they could to save her). I am upset with the way my boyfriend and I were treated. Over the weekend we did get two phone calls to give us updates but we also received a lecture about bringing our dog into the vet more often for check ups. Our dog had been there four months ago and was up to date on all her shots- this did not seem to be the best time to lecture us as we were very distraught. We were also told they would "work with us on a payment plan." This was not the case when my boyfriend went to pick up my dogs body. We were told that we needed to leave a check with them or purchase their credit card otherwise we needed to pay that day if we wanted our dogs body returned to us. I wish I knew this was their idea of a payment plan. I was also upset that there were two fees to cremate our dog. They would cremate her for $200 but if we wanted the ashes back it was going to cost another $100. I understand that these things do happen. I do not believe they are at fault for the death of my dog. But, the lack of empathy made this an absolutely horrific experience. I will never go back.

Weve had to come to the clinic for an emergency after hours visit on a couple of occasions over the last several months. The vets dont only return our emergency calls quickly but theyre also usually able to meet us at the clinic right away. Regardless of whos the vet on call, if its a weekend or late night emergency we know our pets will always be provided with top notch care. The vets are also great about letting you know whats going on when they work with your pet (like when our dog ate a 2 lb box of chocolates). This goes a long way in helping address concerns you may have during these stressful times. In addition to using the clinics emergency care services we also used them to help care for our livestock for over a decade. We especially liked working with Dr. McGuire, who did an excellent job in helping us provide health care to our Jersey cows, horses and goats. I would highly recommend him if you are in need of a large animal vet!

We started using Dallas Animal Clinic in the Fall of 2007. We had 8 huskies, 6 were puppies and five had got Parvo. One had died very rapidly and when we took them in to our previous vets he recommended putting them all down. We were not ready to do that, and Dallas Animal Clinic and Dr. Fullmer took the 4 dogs and nursed them all back to health. With our pack of huskies they have always been great about giving the best care, giving us the options for treatment, after hours call when one ruptured disc in back, and just recently to have to put one down (Nasal and mammary cancer in which they were able to do surgery and give us 10 more months to enjoy our girl). To us like many our dogs are like our kids, and we want the best treatment for them, and i feel that they always offer that. We are looking at moving this spring to the seaside area, but I will still be coming back to them for any treatment needed for our animals.

We had an emergency with our puppy got bit on her nose by our older male pup we rescued at the animal shelter. We were so thankful that they took us in after their business hours and just the way the doctor and the receptionist lady treat us and taking care of our furbaby was just the kind of service that you will love and trust to take your furbabies for care. Our puppy luli is well healed up now and we already know whose gonna be her doctor from now on. Big thank you for this place and ofcourse Dr.Chat i believe his name if not whoever the doctor was there seen us for being so awesome treating our puppy like shes yours as well. I recommend this place 100%

Having not been in for awhile I walked in volunteering to spend my money, $125 for cat Advantage (flea treatment) and $23 on a 7lb bag of food. Cash. Im declined my sale because my cat is due for a check-up. Im sorry.... but your making me bring her in for no reason needed, charge me....just so I can get her some itch relief. Not. Im not Sorry $150 sale walked out your door. Im sorry to my cat who still itches. Even if I had scheduled one....she still suffers until the appointment? Im very upset about this choice they made. Is it about money or caring?

I cant talk to the other vets in Dallas, but these guys are the best. We have used them for almost 15 years now with our dogs and horses. Im sure we have seen all of the Doctors. Dr. Keck as made house calls as well as others. I just cant say enough good things about them. I was actually looking for their phone number when I came across the reviews, and just felt I should let everyone know just how fanstatic they are!
