I had my 1st experience with Pacific Crest Sporthorse today. My 27 year old mare, Ruby Reed, had a dentistry. Dr. Posey & her extremely competent assistant, Val, did a superior job. They were very thorough explaining the procedures to me, an experienced horseman, as the dentistry progressed. They made my mare as comfortable as possible and treated her with the utmost respect. I have had numerous other dental procedures done at another well respected local equine facility. The difference in the experience at Pacific Crest Sporthorse is that the room in which the dental procedure was done is that it is isolated and/or separate; very calm, soothing & quiet with no adjacent stalls. Empty or full, adjacent stalls with horses can be upsetting to even the calmest of horses. Ruby & I appreciated that aspect very much. The entire staff was caring, competent & accommodating (even to my very well-behaved 5 month old Doberman Boomer). Bonus was the absolutely beautiful setting - makes you want to live there! - Linda Berg, Ruby Reed & Maximilians Storm Boomer.
