My name is Brandon Haggas. I had a Hernia Surgery here in 2010. In 2015, something terrible happened and the mesh started to hurt extremly badly. I got all my chart notes and was horrified to see the "surgeon" that performed the procedure, Fay Seppala, was lying and describing a "tender reducable bulge" that did not exist. I am a victim of medical neglegence and fraud. I will be happy to take a lie detector test to verify this.. My life changed that day and not for the better. My surgery was based on a lie. When I went to see Dr. Hotan in Aumsville, she witheld information about the severity of my injuries, and told me, (her EXACT words were...) "the mesh is in position and looks good." Another lie... I was refused treatment because they were trying to hide their crimes. When I told Hotan that I wanted to talk about the mesh one day, She tried 3 times to change the subject. Finally I said, "I would like to talk about the mesh now." And Hotan replied "well, unfortunately then, I can no longer be your Doctor." And she quit on me on the spot, for no reason, and then went on to slander my character in her chartnotes. Why did she do this? Because she had broken the law? I went to these people begging them for help, and they treated me like I was the enemy.. I called the Hospital trying to find out why they were just leaving me to suffer, and Janet Dow told me (word for word) "Even if there was something wrong with you, and we knew, we couldnt say." I told her about how Seppala was lying about the bulge, and they did absolutley nothing about their mistakes. So now, I had no doctor because I was given zero notice. I was forced to check my self into the ER in Portland in the middle of the night, I had a total emotional breakdown in the ER, I was crying significantly, and told them that my DR. had quit on me and I thought I might be dying, and I was 100% serious, the pain I was experiencing was beyond description... I am fortunate to still be alive after the barbaric treatment, neglegence, and psycological torture, I received at the hands of these worthless clowns, I wouldnt let them operate on my dog, let alone another human being... DO NOT GO TO TO THIS HOSPITAL!

We went there when my fiancee was having pain in her joints and back.. She told them she had lupus and the nurse didnt know what that was. She asked us to spell it for her and explain to her what it was. I then told the nurse that she cant have any pain medicine due to her autoimmune disease and her liver, they gave her an antibiotic and I asked the doctor and the nurse three different times if it had pain medication in it and they both told me no. Come to find out when they sent over the records to the primary doctor that it was all pain medication and they both flat out lie to both of us three different times. We then went home, everything was fine for a few days and then we had to come back. The admitting clerk seemed very irritated, kept asking the same questions even though we were answering them. The nurses were not listening, we tried explaining to them what was going on and they constantly tried talking over us and just answering the questions on there stupid sheet. The original nurse didnt take any notes down as to what was going on with my finacee. Once the doctor came in, hes like whats going on.. Well if your nurse was listening, you would know. But we told him, and he was still asking the same question as to what was going on. He then asked if she was allergic to any pain medication and I tried to explain to him no, but she cant have them due to her liver and hes said okay, ill get some blood work and ill get you on some pain medication. I then tried explaining to him again that she cant have it. He then proceeded to ask what lupus was.. Oh now you are asking.. Stupid people. But they still tried to giving her pain medication and every time I tried stopping them and explaining to them why she cant have them, they told me it was okay and that it wouldnt effect anything, keep in mind, this is the same people 5 minutes ago that didnt even know what lupus was. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!! The EMS staff do not know what they are talking about half the time. They are extremely rude. Make the extra trip to salem hospital or even Silverton hospital. Id rather have my sister diagnose me. I would not trust my life with them.

Went in due to waking up to a swollen wrist and hand. It Took close to 2-3 hours in ER. It wasnt very busy. I started giving the Paramedic Info and I was rudely Interupted by the Gentleman who was giving me the X-ray. After that was finished a staff comes in and hands me a f#%king remote control to watch TV looks at my hand tries to make me feel like its fine. Doctor comes in 30 minutes to 1 hour later looks at my wrist and hand she didnt know what it was. She finds a tiny splinter not deep at all. She was looking for every possible excuse to find a infection like they have long long ago for the same kind of injury. The interesting thing is she knew what I was working on days prior. A Nurse walks to the room I was at, stands in front of my window Yelling Loud enough for everyone to hear and says it Doesnt matter anyways its a fake diagnosis anyways. Staff walks in again says its Cellulitis and Tendonitis Proscribes me with Bactrim also known as SUL fa meth OX a zole, trye METH oh prim, or Septra. I dont trust Bactrim. Quick update swelling is still there lump on my wrist is bigger. The area where the bump is located doing a quick search online since the only doctor that examined it said she didnt know what it was and I was unable to see my X-rays it looked like it was sprained or Broken. I locked the door leading outside from my room the night I went to sleep when I woke up it was unlocked and my wrist was swollen and in pain. I have been a victim of cruel and inhumane torture all my life this has happened to my wrist before. The same staff was there including the same woman that makes her kid cry everytime and holding another kid everytime. She looked like the same one who abused me once. Stalkerish if you ask me. The FBI does have it on file with some of that staff there who participated in that abuse. Theyre cowards. I should be able to live in this or any community whether they like it or not.

If you go here, you have a 50/50 chance of being treated by a doctor with current education and experience. When I hear the words "I dont know what that disease is" I automatically know the doctor is a moron and deserves to lose their license. Richard Brodsky is definitely the most pathetic excuse for a doctor I have seen in awhile. When we came into the ER on Saturday, there was a doctor who knew right away what was wrong and what to do. Brodsky did not even read the papers in his hand, so he had No idea of what was diagnosed. But with Medicaid, doctors know they can run a dozen blood tests and keep you in the room so they can bill the state insurance- and that is exactly what Brodsky did. He did not once look at the medical record of 3 terminal illnesses- instead he said you have been prescribed too many narcotics in the last 5 years. He did not print the 12 pages of antibiotics, antivirals, and daily medications. Nope- he said its his license.. So now the DEA has doctors afraid to actually do their jobs. He straight refused to treat; the nurse said I have never heard of ...... So the other doctors that do continue to educate themselves and are worth the money must have been wrong because Brodsky thinks he is right- his diagnosis, or the diagnosis of nearly a dozen other doctors, months and months of hospital stays. This doctor is a moron, judgmental, and straight up LAZY. When told shes my partner he said- oh, so youre single in a very snide voice., Like we havent experience discrimination ever before. How dare you call yourself a medical professional. You are a quack that deserves to be sued for malpractice and lose your medical license. Horrible person, prejudice, and thinks he knows more than ALL the other doctors. You do not even deserve to have a good life; you leave patients ill, in pain, and belittled. Terrible person, absolutely horrible.
