BEWARE: these people take advantage of people that love their dogs. I was out of town and asked a friend to take my dog (who has been seen MANY times at this vet) to have her anal glands cleaned (a problem of small dogs). I have had this done at 3 other places with prices ranging from $20-$32. These people who saw my dog in June and Nov of 2016 said she needed an yearly exam (which they charged me for in June of 16) and didnt tell my friend and handed her a $142 bill including a $22 nail trim, $42 anal gland cleaning and the rest for her "yearly exam"). I guess they forgot they did that "exam" in Nov. She was flabbergasted and called me on the phone and I talked to them and the woman at the desk said, "well its done now, pay the bill." They never asked or advised anything other than the anal glands were going to be done. Ironically, she had been seen two other times within a 12 month period at the same vet and received all her shots and everything there - but they claimed they hadnt seen her in 12 months - I have bills to prove they lie.

The Staff and Dr. Kessler at Bakerstown was caring and professional. I have been looking for a new place to care for my dog and cat, and I found it. I needed urgent care for my dog, the receptionist got me in first thing in the A.M. They did a great job caring for her, and the pricing was fair. Thank you for caring for my Daisy.

Dr. Reed and the staff a Bakerstown Animal Hospital are the best there is, they have cared for my rabbits for 25+ years. They are kind, considerate, very gentle and they understand the stress your under when you have an emergency.
