I checked myself into Clarity Way (with the idea that I could then leave at any time with my dignity intact) for a specific reason requiring individualized treatment which they claim to provide on the phone and all over the website. I had an illness which produced chronic pain. I went there to detox off of the medications I was taking , and then to find a medical treatment plan which would actually help me, as well as yoga, nutrition, massage, etc.. I was promised this was within their scope of ability. Once there, I found myself in a resort like facility complete with pool, tanning bed, maid service who complained when they had to make a bed, and steak nearly every single night. The doctor was just a general practitioner with additional substance abuse training who went on vacation two weeks after I arrived leaving me with no treatment plan and an on-call doctor available only for emergencies. No individual plan was put together for me, and it was AA every night, group therapy, high endurance yoga which had been in place two weeks before my arrival, one group whose facilitator liked to sit by the pool all day, and some staff responsible for the clients alone at night, residing in sober living themselves. My records revealed "Anona seems to think she is different from the other clients". When I asked to leave, they did every single thing in their power to prevent it, though I had every right to leave. They would not return my phone or medications and the facility is in the middle of nowhere. I needed a doctor and they refused. I could not call for help because I did not know the code to dial out. After repeated requests to leave peacefully, I was forced to put on a performance in the hopes they would kick me out. I tried to break a phone and screamed some, a horrible experience. Finally the manager told the nurse to "give me the form" which was the form to sign to get my things back and leave. Someone scratched themselves though and the police were called. I was sick and needed a doctor, after convincing the police I was not a danger, the police and I were forced to wait an hour or more for some person from the county to arrive and without speaking to me, sign a 302 form which meant I had to be escorted, handcuffed by the police (policy for anyone in the cruiser) to the hospital to be evaluated because they claimed I was a danger. Even after being told by the police, they wouldnt give me my meds, and resisted giving me my phone. The doctor at the hospital couldnt believe I had been dragged there under the circumstances, and he was able to help me with my medical issue. I lost my money and dignity. Before you call, I urge you to reconsider if you need more than the generic rehab for addiction! That they could provide.

I had been there recently for dope. And to be honest, it was more like a 30-day getaway in the woods then rehab. They insisted on making sure you saw every single therapist, so you never really could get comfortable with just one. Then we had groups that usually ended up with one person talking the whole time or everyone just making jokes. I stayed in the cottage and had to fork out $40,000 for it. I think it should have been more like $30,000 now that Ive been to another rehab. I think if I would have taken it more seriously I would have done better. A lot of drama took place involving all the patients. It was like an episode of Real World every day, but with a bunch of drug addicts and alcoholics. (I relapsed 4 days after I left)

Id like to thank all the staff at Clarity Way. Within a few days of arriving, I started to realize the stranglehold addiction had on my life and how it had led me to neglect everyone who is important to me and also neglect myself. I was not sure what to expect but the environment was very welcoming, calm and safe. The therapist and all the staff were very professional and friendly. The location is beautiful. I ended up staying for 45 days, and have now been out for a couple of months still sober. I feel like I have been given a second chance in my life and I am very thankful to everyone at Clarity Way for that. I could recommend this place to anyone in need of treatment for addiction.

If you or a loved one are looking for a high-end or luxury rehabilitation center, please look elsewhere. For $35,000.00 to $65,000.00 per 30 days, Clarity Way falls way below expectations. Clarity Ways website is 20% accurate and 80% false advertising. If you choose to go to Clarity Way, get EVERYTHING is writing, especially if you are expecting services listed on their website. Please be prepared to fight for every little thing that was promised to you. Recently, Elements bought Clarity Way and their number one priority is to make a profit. Look elsewhere!

I had struggled with addiction for years and been to other rehab facilities before I attended Clarity Way about a year ago now. It was different to the other rehabs. It was smaller, gave me far more individualized attention and actually pretty much delivered what it promised on their website. It also kept my family involved in the process.Sober recovery is always a work in progress but Clarity Way gave me a solid foundation to help make my recovery life-long.

I owe a lot to the team at Clarity Way - I am very grateful the care, understanding and right level of attention I have received - whilst focusing on the reasons I was there has enabled me to take those next steps forward that six months ago I couldnt see were possible. I really feel Clarity Way has equipped me with the tools to move on. Great people and such a peaceful place. Thank you!

Worse place to go in the world. Do NOT send your loved one here. Waste of time and money. They did absolutely nothing for my son. Total waste!! If you want to go to a resort style place to be placed in a nice room then this is the place. However, if you really want help, you wont get any here!! They just charge your insurance a fortune!!! Total Waste!!

Clarity Way was the program I never knew I was always looking for. The individualized approach, holistic outlook and ability to address my underlying problems proved to be key pieces on my road to recovery. I grew so much as a person during my time there and if a person is battling addiction, I couldnt think of a better program for them to use.

I was sent to york for rehab. Its a drug users dream. So many rehab houses profit. Beware. There are sexual predators who sponsor addicts and offer rides to the meetings you are required to attend. Recovery houses are jyst a scam and break hearts of us who need real help!
