Very, very positive! My orthopedic surgeon recommended and I underwent my 1st total knee replacement surgery at OSS Hospital in York, PA May 2016. I was very nervous and worried about this surgery, whether or not it would help as I had all prior surgical and non-surgical treatments available- NONE HELPED! When I first visited my neurosurgeon I was open to trying other treatments I may not have tried. However I had undergone ALL prior treatments and NONE helped. I had my 1st total knee replacement surgery, although the pain was a bit miserable at first, I am so glad I had this surgery. Had I not had it I am sure now Id be confined to a wheelchair totally unable to walk. You have to be willing to follow all surgical rules and treatments in order to fully receive the benefits of this surgery. Had this surgery only helped me in minor ways, I would have found it helpful and worthwhile to have.

Diagnostics available at their York office is obviously much better, but OSS is OUTSTANDING! The cost depends on your insurance - not them. Our family has been to Hanover for Rehab and had nothing short of all excellent experiences! We have had knee surgery, back surgery, injections and every experience has exceeded our expectations. We have felt the highest level of care from OSS York and Hanover, as opposed the Cherry Tree or anyone else. I owe my quality of life to OSS and that is a fact.

The visit was "ok" as expected from a professional doctor visit, however, the billing is, well, outrageous. I went in for a shot in my knee, they made me get a x-ray (actually 2 pictures taken) then the doctor gave me a shot in my knee after the x-ray showed my knee was good-enough. No drain, just one shot. I was in there about 40 minutes. Two separate billings, one for the doctors/technicians and then later another for the "facility" for a total of $1126.

Dr, actually an RN as didnt even get to see a real Doctor, was rude, ignorant, told me nothing wrong. Go to Gettysburg Wellspan Orthopedics visible break on x-rays confirmed by a CT. I could even see the fracture on the x-ray prior to the Dr at Wellspan actually pointing it out! It was very obvious.

Fast ortho help right up the street. Walk in clinic so much better than any ER anywhere. Nice people. Clean. Specialty physicians are relatable and take time with patients.
