I was referred to him by a family member who had been seeing him all her life. I was not pleased with the office environment and the selection of frames were old and outdated. I still gave him the chance to do my vision exam, to my own demise as he failed to include all the necessary information on the script for me to have my prescription filled online. After several attempts to have him fax a completed script to a local Eyeglass shop, I made the voyage back down to 40th and Girard Avenue where I knew he would not give me information to have my script filled elsewhere, I ended up leaving my $300.00 frame with him to fill the script for an additional $90.00. Needless to say, the day after I drops my frame off to have my script filled, I hear that his establishment burned to the ground. I go by to see for myself and my worse fears were confirmed. I have had no contact with him or his office since dropping off my frame, nor did he put forth an effort to inform his patients of the misfortune. I have never been more disappointed in an Optometrist before in my life. Someone please give me a forwarding address or email for this Doctor because he refuses to respond to the emails I have sent him in regards to this matter.

I had such a fantastic visit today at Mr. Jack Golds office. I was initially hesitant because I have been going to the same eye doctor for years but my insurance changed causing me to locate another eye doctor. Im glad I chose this office. The people there are equally efficient as they are funny. They have an awesome selection of frames! I got two frames today - Prada and Versace. So happy with my selection but I owe it to this office who helped me pick out frames that not only fit my face, but also worked well my prescription.

This place was very dark and very dusty on the inside and outside papers and books on every thing not at all kid friendly the lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all she looked like she was coming in off the street the doctor was very old and never AGAiN!!!!!
