My husband and I started going to Trish Starbird, marriage counselor and more, when we were going through a rough time personally and within our relationship. Most people who find themselves in the position to need a marriage counselor are already facing some of the most difficult decisions of their lives. Having a professional give you an outside perspective and mediate your disagreements is not only helpful but a service that is essential when all else fails. Trishs ability to understand relationships and offer insight changed our marriage and lives for the better. Marriages are the most important thing you will ever nurture and if you are willing to spend money to go to a doctor for a broken limb then you should be willing to pay to nurture your broken marriage. She gives you a lot to think about and guidance especially when you are trying to make these life changing decisions. She is a real person who doesnt sugar coat the reality of what you are going through. She asks tough questions and builds a foundation so you can really begin understanding your own expectations and reflect on what the marriage means to you. When we got to the point of needing professional help, I had already given up on fixing the relationship, but with work, understanding and a new respect for the marriage my husband and I slowly fell back in love. I truly dont believe we would have remained together without Trish. Obviously staying together isnt for every relationship, but with her help and personal expertise and experiences I can promise you that she will at least provide you with some direction during what maybe the most difficult time in your life.

Wow, I am so impressed with these guys! I posted a poor review after a really disappointing experience. Thriveworks contacted me within MINUTES and immediately set a course to amend the issue. This morning a senior manager called me personally and apologized profusely and sincerely for my experience with some of their phone staff and hiccups in billing. She immediately put the wheels in motion to correct the problem and had resolved it within hours! She went above and beyond to ensure she understood the problem, was empathetic and understanding of the problem, and we had a clear understanding of how to resolve it and move forward. I could not be more pleased and grateful to this manager and am looking forward to continuing my engagement with Thriveworks!

I suffered a very traumatic event last year of the untimely death of my husband. I am so thankful I found Thriveworks and the excellent qualified staff of counselors, therapists, and doctors who have worked together for me as a team. Their dedication and communication with each other paved the way for a very successful treatment plan, which has helped me to learn to live again and cope with the tragedy that was almost unbearable for me. They offer different types of therapy which allows you and your care team to find the one that best suits your needs. They have truly been a God send in my life. Thank you to Valerie, Trish and Dr. Goen for caring for me during such a difficult time.

I want to say that Thriveworks, particularly Trish Starbird, has been such a help to me personally! The office is a calming and serene, but Trish is just the best. She has been helpful in getting to the heart of my issues, unraveling the things at the source of where my struggles are coming from, and helping to reset my perspective. I would highly recommend her if you are struggling with personal and communication issues! She doesnt waste time in getting to the heart of the matter, and had me feeling better very quickly!

Michael, the owner of Thriveworks, has ZERO concept of how PTSD works and will make so much noise with his boots and banging on random objects that your counseling sessions will come to a halt because you will lose your train of thought every time he decides to go stomping around the place like a gorilla.
