Applied for a veterinary assistant/tech job there. I was called to set up an interview, with a brief conversation regarding my ability to work full-/part-time and that I had already been planning on entering graduate school in the fall. I arrived at the clinic roughly 10 minutes early, filled out the paperwork, and was kept waiting for nearly 20 minutes past my scheduled interview time. No one introduced themselves, no one was there to greet or welcome me. I was just handed a paper-based application from a surprised woman who was preoccupied with other things and told to sit down in the waiting area. The hiring manager never introduced herself when she came out to get me; she just greeted me and told me to follow her into the back where the offices are so we could have the interview in a quiet area. She re-hashed our conversation that we had had on the phone, and never gave any indication that my persona situation with school would be an issue. I was entirely willing and able to work whenever they needed me to, and it seemed like they were okay with that. When the interview was over, she led me back out to the front and said goodbye. She never mentioned anything about calling me back, and for that she never mentioned why I wasnt a viable candidate for the position. Im assuming its because I didnt have enough "experience", but: a) the description never said anything about needing it or any license; b) I sent in my resume. Maybe--before asking someone to come into an interview--try reading their resume and cover letter first? It would save both parties a lot of time, hassle, and frustration. I was disappointed with Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic because they seemed like such a good, friendly, welcoming business. I never felt welcomed there and they have a disappointing management staff.

5 stars arent even enough to express my level of satisfaction w/ CBAC! Dr. Wolf is probably the most compassionate vet I have ever met. We had to have our 7 yr old cat put down yesterday after a long 2 week battle to save him. After countless diagnostic tests & numerous procedures to remove fluid from his chest, he let us know that he was tired & it was time to let him go. Dr. Wolf had called us over the weekend to check on him & let us know about results shed gotten from his visit to UT. It was Labor Day weekend & shed not be in the office again until Wednesday, but after telling her how poorly our Franklin had been doing & our decision to let him go if he went back into Congestive Heart Failure, she gave me her personal cellphone number & told us if time were to come before she was scheduled to be back in the office to just call/text her & shed meet us at the clinic. Unfortunately, that time came at about 20 min before closing time on her day off, but the minute I texted her, she called me & agreed to meet us at the clinic, which she did. She was there for not only my husband & I during one of the toughest times weve had to endure, but she was there for Franklin. That means more to us than I could ever express in words & we will be forever grateful for her kindness. All of the staff at CBAC are wonderful, caring, individuals. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for a vet. CBAC really deserves 10 Stars!!! And then some!!!

Shortly after we moved here, our dog of 12 years had a bad episode of seizures that severely impaired him to the point that he would have to be put down. My dogs are like family, and despite this being such a horrible, horrible event, I determined never to take my pets anywhere else because of the compassion, tenderness, and obvious concern on the part of the vet. The vet gave me a full understanding of what had gone on with the dog, said that they could run some extensive tests, but also told me with great tenderness that in this case there was a limited prognosis, because of my dogs advanced age and size. After we cried as a family for a couple months, we got a beagle puppy, and the first thing I did was to take her there. The rates are very reasonable, and the vets are excellent. If you would have seen the care that theyve given my animals, you wouldnt go anywhere else either.

Recently my beloved dog, Buddy, got out of the backyard when a workman left the gate ajar. After driving around for a long time looking for him and asking neighbors who were walking or out in their yards if they had seen him, I went home and watched and hoped that he would come back on his own. After a while I got a call from Cedar Bluff Vet Clinic telling me that someone had brought him in from the information on his rabies tag. Well, I am eternally grateful to that anonymous angel who found my dog running amok on Bob Gray Road and took him in to the clinic but also to the staff at Cedar Bluff Vet Clinic who, knowing that Buddy is diabetic, checked his blood sugar to make sure it was okay since they didnt know how long he had been on the run without his insulin shots. Im so grateful to them for looking out for Buddys health needs and taking loving care of him.

I want to personally thank Jennifer Black and her professional staff. I adopted my beautiful female terrier mix female dog named Allie back in September from out of state and she was only 9 months old at the time. I was told she had all of her shots but that was not true after recently finding it out through a exam that Jennifer gave Allie. I was glad that I had Allie treated by Jennifer because she had a illness that I was unaware of and she potentially saved Allies life because I would not have ever known this with out the exam. Thanks again for the personal care and love you gave Allie. I will always be grateful.

My experience with CBAC has been the greatest even on the worst day of my life. My Maine coon "Jake" was very ill and the options were null. The compassion and caring out of the entire office was incredible. We now have two new pets Prince Tonka,(dog), and Lord Bentley, (cat) and the staff has been extremely helpful in every way they can and care for my loving cat and dog. I have thought of using another vet that my friend works out but cant seem to bring my self to change due to the professionalism and the comfort that I have at CBAC. Thanks for all you do. We appreciate your continued consistency and mission.

My fur babies have been patients at Cedar Bluff for over 12 years. The Doctors and staff are truly amazing and have nothing but you and your animals best interests at heart. Weve recently had to say good-bye to my sweet Georgia. Dr. Whitmire was so sweet and compassionate. She made a very horrible and sad day a little brighter. The staff was also caring and amazing. Thank you Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic.

The Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic is full of compassionate people who really care about the animals they treat. My cat has been there probably too many times and every time they were always very kind to him and he never minded going. They are always very concerned if something goes wrong and interested to know how he is doing. I highly recommend them for top animal care at an affordable price.
