I went to this clinic July 2016 for my sons sports physical and I paid out of my pocket for the sports physical then and there. Well, I ended up moving from my previous address and here we are January 2017 and I receive a letter saying that this clinic handed my account to an agency because I failed to pay them $109.00. I called today confused about it all because at my visit, my son had to drop his shorts for his little sports physical and we were out the door in under 10 minutes. (Remember I paid for this before they even called us back). Well get a load of this... my son has had asthma for 15 years and it was more than obvious that his allergies were acting up that day. So, the doctor prescribed him inhalers to last him the school year. I left and said thank you. The clinic charged me $109.00 for prescribing my son inhalers. For prescribing it....AND they charged me because he annotated that he addressed my sons allergies. WOW! Wow! This is just disgusting to me. Disgusting. This is why people struggle so much with medical bills. The doctor believes that this bill went to my insurance. My insurance would never question these charges, any insurance would just pay. But this bill didnt go to an insurance. It came to ME. And this has given me the chance to see how this clinic is doing business. I will never go here again. This doctor gave my son a whole 5 minutes, I paid right under $50 for my sons physical and when I left, they billed me $109 for absolutely nothing. Shame on you guys for cheating the system, cheating the insurance, not advising that opening your expert of a mouth in that room was a charge, shame on you for charging me $100 to grab your pen and paper and prescribe my son inhalers. Shame on the doctors here and shame on the clinic for attempting to bill my insurance. Everyone is out to make a dollar. Im so disappointed in this clinic and Im going to fight this. Its not okay. Even if it was $5 its not okay and I cant imagine how many others you are doing this to. I bet your clinic submits charges to the insurances left and right that are not legit. Just sad.

Id give the Dr Hays 5 stars he is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately the front desk people arent the greatest with there customer service skills. They have to ask me every time what insurance I have and they gave me a referral to a doctor that was not covered under my insurance. Wait time is long even though I have appointments I usually wait longer than an hour to be seen sometime a total of 2 hours all together before Im out the door.
