This was the FIRST time I have EVER walked out of a dentist office! I was a xfer from Dallas office bc they were full. The staff up front was very kind. I was to get a root canal and tooth extraction and my record were xfered from the Dallas office to Garland. Well, they only had me schedule for an extraction..I told them that I was there for a root canal and extraction. I was told that they did not get any paperwork for an extraction, but I can fill out the consent form anyway. About 15 mins later, a young man cam e out and said that he is sorry, but they do not do extractions. I said " that is not true bc the Dallas office did my last extraction" He said one minute..came back about 2-3 mins later and said ok, we are ready for you. I sat in the back and waited. The young man came back in..he said "Im sorry Mrs. Dickerson. we actually do offer extractions, but the doctor that performs them isnt here today" I was disappointed and said told them to go ahead and do the root canal (that would require another day (OFF OF WORK!) so the lady came in to numb me and OH MY SWEET JESUS!! it was HORRIBLE!! she was numbing me and the liquid was squiring all over my mouth and face!! she didnt stop! I said " wow, I have never actually TASTED the numbing medicine before" she only replied " yeah, it has a bad taste" WOW!! no adjustments to the vial were made or anything! next, they said that the cavity was REALLY close to my bone and that Its possible that I will have to get an extraction or a bridge!! NOW HOLD ON!! I came for a root canal..now you are telling me that if worst case comes, I have to get the tooth extracted, or I have to get a bridge (why would I mess up two perfectly good teeth for a bridge)??!!! NO OTHER OPTION WER E GIVEN! this was NEVER told to me by the dallas office..The TOTALLY made it seem like they were gonna do the bridge anyways bc that is ALL they mentioned. They also kept mentioning the additional cost. Sounded more like a sales call than anything. I was sooo sickened. I walked out, numbed and everything. I made a muffled call to the Dallas office nad asked why werent my records sent. She said that she sent over ALL my information..she was polite and asked would I like to reschedule with them. I declined and said that I would call back at a later time bc I was so upset. Well, Good news to all of this is that after I tried to reschedule with Dallas, they were too full (because the are super AWESOME!!) I was scheduled for Arlington. They got me in, extracted my tooth, AND did root canal with a crown lengthening. They explained why a bridge was not my only option and that a crown lengthening is less expensive and would be the best option. I WILL NEVER go back to the dentist in the Garland location. I do not remember the dentists name, but her face is embedded in my brain. I will run if I see her again!! Mint is a great company, they just have a few bad seeds. I left a great review for Arlington and Dallas because they deserve recognition. I have had a friend cancel for Garland also bc of her bad experience..I told her to try Dallas. please excuse the typos.

They get great reviews because they offer additional whitening gel for each good review you write. I went to them to get cavities filled. The procedure went fine. That was over three weeks ago. I have been back three times now because I cannot eat anything on the side they did work on or I get a stabbing nerve pain. I went back and the staff was dismissive and unfriendly, as opposed to my first visit when they were really nice. Dr. Ali swore to me my bite was wrong, adjusted it, didnt bother to take a look at the tooth I was actually having pain in, told me wait a week. A week later I still couldnt eat anything on the side work was done on. I called and spoke to the office manager, she swore it was my bite. I was brought back in and the same dentist who did the work told me that none of my fillings had been filed smooth and it was causing them to rub on each other. The dentist destroyed my mouth filing them down. She sliced open the roof of my mouth and cut my lip on two separate occasions while she was talking to a staff member and not looking at my mouth. I still cannot eat anything on that side, but at this point I am entirely unwilling to let them touch my mouth again. I really hate writing bad reviews but I tried to give them several chances and they have left me in serious pain every time. (They also used my entire yearly insurance of $1500 on 5 cavities. Thanks.)

The worst dentist experience of my life. Went in for a exam and in up needing a tooth pulled. Dentist starts to prepare and was supposed to numb my mouth he gave me at least 3 shots. And when he went to pull it I still felt everything he was doing I told him I could feel it. So he gave me more shots to numb it after giving me more shots he proceed to try again still I could feel it. So if anyone knows how a toothache feel and someone pulling on it while it hurts you could imagine the pain I was in as I was crying my heart out telling him how bad it hurt he act as if he was annoyed with me and ask what was wrong and one of the nurses seem irritated with him and said you are hurting her. So he tried numbing it aging for the 12 time and nitrogen gas to relax me and I still felt everything at this point Im in so much pain Im screaming.so he finally gives up and tells them to send me home like he was upset with my which mad me feel worst.so once they basically just dismiss me like the rushed me out I get in my car still inpain upset driving on a highway confused not knowing where I was going because I couldnt believe or understand or comprehend what just happened and why I was treated this way.

I went to mint dentisty about 1 month ago they told me i needed 5 fillings and i needed my teeth cleaned . I was ok about the teeth cleaning because it was time but the fillings i was not really sure about that. So i got a second opinion and like i discovered i didnt need fillings. My husband received a deep teeth cleaning and they told him he needed 4 fillings. Well second opinion again proved he did need deep cleaning but again no fillings needed but they did miss he needed a root canal. I would suggest that you be very careful about this type of service they are in business to make money and sometimes its at the expense of the consumer. I love my new dentist even though its not close to me i will do the drive because he was truthful and upfront with us about our care. My best advice if you are in doubt about your service it doesnt hurt to get a second opinion it will save you money in the long run.
