I went to Carus Dental in Georgetown for tooth pain. The dentist recommended I go see an orthodontist AND oral surgeon to look at a tooth. Three days later the pain too much and I went back since I really was not interested in spending $4k for a titanium post at this time, I just wanted it extracted. After 2.5 hours of pulling, tugging, and drilling the dentist decided it was best for me to go to oral surgeon. My mouth is a dental wonderland and I have no real fear of dentist (other than the bill) but the was the WORST dental experience I have ever had. The oral surgeon questioned the ability of the dentist as well when she cleaned up the mess. I did not care for the lack of explanation of what was occurring during the ordeal. I prefer a dentist and dental assistant that is more vocal with what is going on. They would walk out of the room and let me sit there unsure of what was going on.

Carus Dental is a great place. You can TRUST this place as a legitimate Dental Practice (unlike others who send you fliers every week!). I had a crown, and the Dr was not happy until the crown was perfect. My son went in and got a good cleaning, exam, and cavity filled. None of us have Dental insurance - so we purchased their "discount" plan for the family which has paid for itself many times. We highly recommend Dr. Cherian, Mecie, and Cynthia -- and really all of the staff. My son has very high "dental anxiety" but was very pleased with the office, friendliness, and professionalism. People seem to enjoy working there and care about the patients. We would recommend them. Their office is really close to 29/I-35 -- and they have the latest technology which is great. 5 Stars!

Ive been going to Carus in Georgetown on University Ave for 8 years. Ive never had any kind of mouth problems until my 8 year old son had an infection in a tooth. He was in complete pain. The receptionist told me he couldnt be seen for 24 hours and there was nothing she could do. She never once asked the dentists if my son could be fit it. I called Stars Smiles in Georgetown and they fit me in immediately. I will not return to Carus. This is not the only incident Ive had to deal with either. They are not personable and do not care about patients!

Chelsea is an amazing dental hygienist and has been since my very first visit. I really appreciate her always explaining to me what she will be doing at each visit and even the next visit, what I should expect. I went in there and did not know what to expect since I had not been to a dentist in over 20+ years but she made it very comfortable for me. She gives me the hope that I will be able to live a long life with these teeth and there will be no extractions. She goes above and beyond my expectations!

I asked the lady for a piece if dental floss a simple request but she refused to give me iny thing without signing up for a uppoetmint i asked nisly 3 more times and got the same thing i have to give thim money to git 4 inches of dintul floss witch cost thim next to nuthing
