Initially when I went it was a fairly pleasant experience, which is what promoted me to go in today. My dog developed a UTI and I thought why not take her back to this clinic because my initial reception was warm and the staff was kind. Today I called ahead to inform the staff I would be bringing my dog in. Upon arrival, the front desk lady begins to lecture me about not having an appointment and it being 5:00pm. Informed her although I did not have a scheduled appointment, but extended the courtesy of calling an hour beforehand. She proceeded to lecture me on how the doctors were busy seeing others who "had appointments" and if I stayed then Id just have to wait. At this point, I said "No problem I can take her somewhere else if walk-ins are not accepted." She proceeds to lecture me and says "Aww, dont get mad. You can stay but you will have to wait." Please keep in mind, Im well aware its common to wait as a "walk-in." I chose to leave because I found her approach to be unprofessional. This conversation was unnecessary and shouldnt be conducted in a lobby. I was embarrassed and most of all disappointed! I declined to use their services because she came across as if she were more concerned herself than my dog who clearly needed to be treated for and emergency. She did a lot of talking and very little listening. For her to make a polarized statement and patronize a customer she doesnt know by saying "Awwwh dont get mad," is UNACCEPATABLE! I didnt feel welcomed. I felt lectured and judged for walking in a clinic at 5:00pm. I chose to bow out gracefully and not use their services, which is unfortunate because I liked the doctor who treated my dog the first time. However, any front desk person who would lecture a customer in the lobby and reprimand me for being a walk in, may not have my dogs best interest at heart.

I took my dog here today for a standard checkup with vaccinations, heartworm test, etc. I unfortunately called to say I would be late, and asked if I should reschedule. They were very accomodating and told me to go ahead and come, that theyd move my appt 30 minutes later. The reception area was very very clean and did not have that typical vet "cat food" smell. I waited no more than 10 minutes to be seen, and the exam room was also immaculate. I was definitely not the first appointment of the day, but it was spotless anyway. When they took my dog back to do her shots, fecal swab, blood draw, and a nail test, the whole thing took less than 10 minutes. I had my toddler with me so this was awesome. The tech (Natalie) was very knowledgeable, and Dr. Gordon whom I spoke with next was also very thorough and listened well. What I loved most was that they didnt try to "sell" me anything additional. Yes, I knew my dogs teeth needed to be cleaned, and that she will need knee surgery when she gets older. However, they presented these items to me in a way that did not pressure me to do it now or pay additional money. I was given lots of options by way of heartworm and flea prevention, etc, instead of just pressuring me into an expensive one the way other vets have done. When it was time to go, the Vet walked me to the front and even to my car to ensure I could get in ok with both dog and toddler. We just bought a house in the neighborhood behind this clinic, and I am thrilled that we will go there for many years to come. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Sartors clinic since first (luckily!) finding him in 2006 when I moved to Houston from Michigan. There is absolutely NO one I trust with my girls with besides Dr. Sartor and his staff. They are absolutely the best people I have ever found to take care of my fur kids. They mean everything to me and I demand the best care for them. I found that in Dr. Sartor. Everyone there are very kind, loving, compassionate, understanding, friendly and sweet to both me and my fur kids. I judge a vet by the way they treat my animals...and no one treats animals better than Dr. Sartor and his staff. My girls go in for everything from nail trims to surgeries to boarding and routine exams. I have complete confidence in Dr. Sartor and am at ease knowing my fur kids are always getting the BEST of care.

I like Dr. Sartor a lot. I took my dog there for his annual check-up and found out that he had heartworms. I was really freaked out, because I didnt know anything about it. Luckily, Dr. Sartor gave me a print-out of heartworm disease and various treatment options. I liked the fact that Dr. Sartor didnt blame me for it (bc I felt horrible already). Im happy to say that my dog is now hearworms free! I recommend this place, because the doctor personally calls you to make sure that your dog is okay - even though there are 5 other assistants in his office. Also, they offer the cheapest kennel rates around. Its only 15 bucks a night, which is a lot cheaper than Petco or Petsmart. Plus, they cut your pets fingernails for free!

Really happy with the decision I made by going to Champions Forest Animal Clinic. I really value my time, so when I called my last veterinarian and asked to make an appointment, they simply said "we dont work by appointments. Just come in and wait. Im not sure how long it will take to get to you" It was the complete opposite with CFAC. I called them, they got my information, they booked me in their schedule, and bam. I was ready to roll. On my appointment day (which was set for 8:00am), I got there at 7:55am and was in the room with the tech by 8:00am. Super friendly, nice, and answered all my questions that I had. Definitely recommend their service!

The staff here has been easy to get a hold of on the phone and the vet returns calls quickly. When I call if my cat is seriously sick they have always found a way to fit me in for an appointment. They are very up front about prices before they do anything beyond the basic visit. The vets I have seen here never seemed rushed and take the time to explain options in treatment from all angles from expectations, process right down to the cost. Every time I have come for an appointment, they seem to be running on time and there is very little waiting.

Dr. Sartor and his staff and top notch. They are kind, compassionate and professional. I have used them for 10+ years and they have always treated myself and my animals like family. The clinic itself is a clean and welcoming environment. Docs wife Lisa always has a bright, welcoming smile for her clients, and makes sure all their needs are met before heading into their appointment, which is always on time. They understand the clients time is valuable, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend Champions Forest Animal Clinic!

So this place deleted my previous review!!! Wow. Well Im going to post again. NEVER EVER bring your pet to this clinic!! My Pomeranian of 13 years had to be put asleep and instead of the veterinarian calmly tell me this, she delivers this horrible news with a LAUGH!!!!! For a doctor who supposedly "loves" animals, how can you deliver news of death of ones pet with a laugh??!?!?! It was sickening!! I will never bring another pet to this place!!
