The people who work at Nottingham Animal Clinic are very compassionate and nice people, however their veterinary skill is poor. More than half the time, they make things worse for your pet. For example, I brought my dog in with a dime-sized wound in her leg. The vet and vet techs shaved the wound, ripping skin off and ripping the wound open until it was the size of two quarters. The dont have enough skill to realize that shaving a large wound is a very bad idea. If theyd told me what they were going to do, Id have said no, but instead they took my dog in the back and I didnt find out until they came back. Another time, they stitched a wound with dissolvable stitches that didnt need to be removed. I brought my dog back for a follow up visit and the vet didnt read the record and didnt remember that the stitches would dissolve and did not need to be removed. But they took my dog to the back, away from me, and the vet removed the stitches without pain medicine. My poor dog suffered needlessly. Again, theyre very compassionate and nice people. I hope they get some training and develop their skills.

Best Vet care in Houston. This crew, not just the vets, truly LOVE all the animals they see. The care is the very best. When we adopted our Nugget in 2008, he came down with pneumonia with in days. We had him in an emergency facility that wanted us to put him down. Dr. Fix said NO! Give him Tamiflu. The vet in the clinic said that would not help.... I asked would it hurt? No, but it wont help. Told him to do what my vet had said. They did, received a phone call with in thirty minutes telling me my puppy was recovering so quickly, hed be able to go home that night!!!!!! He and Dr. Roland have helped us transition when it was time to say good bye to our furbabies.... The vet techs??? We trust them with our pets whenever we need advice, or home care! We cannot say enough good things about this Veterinarian team! They dont sugar coat, they dont make false promises, and they dont give up!

We found Nottingham AC after adopting two cats from CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection), and we are so glad we did. Dr Rowlands is amazing with them, and always takes time to fully explain things. 1 month after getting our send kitten, he got very sick and the care provided was amazing. Dr Rowlands and Dr Fix came in our their days off to see us. We left him at the clinic for closer vet observation and were never charged for it. They truly do car about the animals and their owners, and in the end thats what matters the most. We have unfortunately just moved out of the area and both our Cats do not like car rides, so we are now looking for a new Vet in our area, however I wanted to post a review because for time we were at Nottingham, they were great.

My cat Tigger PURRED in the vets office. I guess it was his way of saying, " I like Dr. Fix!" They prescribed him some pills, did the right diagnosis because he is fine now. They called to check up on him a few days later. Even sent me a health mag. Wow. What service. I am super happy to have found such a good vet. He was referred to me from a member of my church after I went to a vet off of hwy 6 and having a pretty bad experience. I didnt want another bad experience so I asked around. Boy am I glad I did! I wont be taking my cat anywhere else.

Dr. Fix and the staff at Nottingham Animal Clinic are amazing! I truly believe that they care as much about your fur babies as you do. I had a pretty stressful situation with one of my animals, and Dr. Fix provided the care and recommendations for future treatment, and I could not be more thankful. I have even moved about 30 minutes away from the area, and continue to bring all of my animals here. Couldnt ask for a better vet!

Anyone that suggests that Nottingham Vet Clinic and its Doctors are anything other than the best simply are ignorant. We have had over 100 of our retired Military Working Dogs treated there for various things over the past year and NEVER have we been anything other than totally satisfied. Dr. Fix and his team are the BEST! I would not take my pets anywhere else for standard vet care.

Doctor "Fix" and everyone else there are awesome. They care as much about our babies as we do. They are expert, proffessional, caring, and honest. This has been our vet for about 10 years and I wouldnt consider going anywhere else.
