I had not been to a dentist in almost 30 years and my teeth have suffered tremendous problems due to my lack of attention and treatment for them. Due to an abscess and swelling, I had to seek treatment. Ive been to a few different dentist and an Endodontist in the last month for evaluations and a root canal. I wanted a second opinion for an extraction and implant that was needed so I went to Dossett Dental among some other dental offices for that opinion. Dossett Dental was by far the most thorough and comprehensive exam that I had experienced through all of the offices that I went to!! They were very extensive on their evaluation of all of my dental needs. They explained what needed to be done now an what needed to be done in the future. I was very impressed with the service I received from ALL of the staff!! I chose to have a lot of my work done in one day, which kept me there 7 hours. Although it was a very long day, I am so thankful that I did it!! They were very good about making sure that I was comfortable at all times. They were very thorough and I knew exactly what I was paying for before each procedure. No hidden cost. I do not have dental insurance and they were great about working with me on getting the cost down, which was a huge relief since I am currently unemployed!! I would highly recommend this place to everyone!! I have already told a few people about my experience with them and they are talking about changing their dental needs to this office. Meeting with Dr.Land required me driving all the way from Denton to Hurst. However I was willing to make this hour drive because I was sure it would be worth my time. This was a huge waste of my time. He basically wanted me to get braces to close a small gap between my two front teeth that I could easily have bonded close .(FYI: Tooth bonding is the application of a tooth-colored resin material using adhesives and a high intensity curing light.) *This is the exact same material used to fill cavities *.When I requested a mock up to see what it would look like , he basically pulled out an adhesive similar to sticky tack placed on my teeth ,handed me a mirror and walked off to handle another patient. Currently, I would like to have my two front teeth bonded-thats it. I was so frustrated but I continued to hold back my tears. Obviously, I am a college student and I do not have dental insurance & and barely can afford to pay bills that I have right now why would you basically encourage me to go into more debt. I honestly wish I could get that time back I wasted that day. Please avoid this place because the materials they use seem to be as out of date as the equipment.

I had a very bad experience with them I first visited their office 3 days ago for sever pain in my wisdom tooth and the doctor put me on antibiotic for 3 days and I made an appointment to be back for extraction, they called us in the same day at morning asking us to make the appointment either earlier or to make it in a different day and I choosed to make it earlier in the same day and I went over there and I stayed from 11:30am till 12:45 PM and finally one of the staff came and told me that the doctor will not be able to do the extraction today because he have to leave early !!! No one cared to tell us this when we reached the office at 11:30 or even they didnt tell us through the phone that they have to cancel the appointment so we dont go there. Id definitely not recommending this office to anyone .

I had a root canal and crown done back in September of 2015 and I started having pain associated with that tooth June of 2016. I went to a different dentist to get it checked out, where I found out that the crown that I had gotten done at Dossett Dental was "leaking" because "the margins are off". I called their office and requested to get reimbursed since Im having to get the crown re-done due to it leaking and not being done correctly at their office. Dawn (the office Manager), told me she would not because I would have to come in there and get it fixed. I explained to her that I did not want to return and have treatment done again at their office when it was not done correctly in the first place. If they could not provide the quality of care required, why would I want to return? This place SUCKS!!

Dossett Dental of Hurst is a great dental clinic. I was there earlier this year for a wisdom tooth extraction. I was very uneasy about it due to a bad experience in the past with my other two wisdom teeth and they really changed the way I feel about it. They also worked with me allowing me to do payments since I was a self pay patient. They recommended a cleaning but didnt force it on me. The entire staff there is great and the doctor who did my procedure did it so effortlessly and perfectly (it was out in the blink of an eye). I didnt feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Afterwards only some pain that was gone with meds but nothing major. I really recommend this place, hoping I can get my fourth and last wisdom tooth extracted here too.

This is the best dentist office I have found in the 15 years Ive been in Texas! I have found their exams and procedures to be thorough, efficient, and painless. I have had a crown done here, as well as an extraction and they have bent over backward to make me as comfortable as possible, as well as my son who waited for me in the lobby. Being burned before, after the first time I visited this office, I took their list of recommendations and prices with me to my dentist in Oklahoma for a second opinion and was thrilled to learn that they did not recommend more work than necessary and that their prices were the best my OK dentist had ever seen! Oh, and the front office staff are GREAT; they are professional and fun!

I had a cleaning done in this office last Jan. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a knowledgeable and efficient Hygienist. The first time I have ever actually ENJOYED having my teeth cleaned! I now recommend Leila to all my colleagues and peers. If you want your teeth cleaned this is the place to go to!

I had lots of damage on my teeth from cancer treatments and Dossett Dental gave me a band new smile in juse a few short visits. I get complements on my new smile everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I us all dont going to the dentist but here I dont mind. They are very kind and gentle.

I went back on Friday 10/21/16. Tara, the office manager assured me that I would be taken good care of and she was correct. Service was awesome and Dr. Do worked on my issues and I have never been more satisfied. He is a true believer in "No Pain". Im glad that I made this step in going back.
