As most of us know, its next to impossible to try to get an appointment with ur primary care physician in a few hours notice and also that every single doctor (family practice) goes home at 5PM and lets say u have to work till 5/6PM and something happens to a loved one, you will have no choice but to go to ER of a hospital where the wait time could be crazy and it could be more expensive as well too. They charge 100$ for giving u just Tylenol. So we live in Las Colinas, and I found 2 urgent care centers in Irving: Concentra (till 8PM) and CVS Minute Clinic (till 7:30PM). Concentra had better reviews so v decided to go there. CVS Minute Clinic was on the way, so we dropped in at 7PM and they were no longer accepting new patients on that night, since there were 5 patients in waiting. Ok Concentra it is. Easy to find, nice big signboard, good parking spots, most importantly its located in a good neighborhood. Good ambience inside, plenty of seating, 2 nice ladies working in the front. We were told that the whole drill would take 2 hours from start to finish. Actually we were out in 1 hour. I wanted to say that Samuel, was the nurse who attended to my wifes wound on her finger, and he was a thorough professional, gave some great advice, washed the wound in Hibiclens (v have never seen that before in our life, v used white vinegar and rubbing alcohol for her wound at home), and then applied some bacitracin, and added a layer of adaptic, gauze and then Coban dressings & then gave her a Tetanus shot and she did not feel a thing. Dr. Nicol was very friendly and thorough too, she spent good amount of time diagnosing my wifes wound and said encouraging things. Concentra was very nice to give us a few medical samples of ointment, gauze, to keep us going for a week for the daily dressing. Wife got a follow up call on the next day from Concentra to check on her, and that was a nice gesture as well. I recommend Concentra to any urgent care needs that needs to be done. They also do wellness checks, I was told.

I love the customer service, very attentive, and caring. They offered me snacks and a water bottle, which was awesome since I was feeling down and in a lot of pain from getting hurt at work. I was hit from the side of the passenger door, the driver in the Ford f-150 ran a stop sign while texting. So I got hurt pretty bad. I love the staff, I wish I had this crew of staff members at my primary doctor. The office was very clean, loved the environment. The doctor was kind, but I dont think Ive received proper medication for my shoulder. I told him that I couldnt sleep at night from the pain and I couldnt lift up my shoulder. So all he gives me is Advil. Nothing to help me sleep. The Advil didnt help my pain. I still have a hard time sleeping, I even cry at night because of the pain. I loved the staff but the doctor didnt control my pain, nor did he help me sleep at night. He didnt even give me a muscle relaxed, which is non-narcotic. Im just saying hes not with me while Im at home in pain staying up all night and crying, so he needs to make sour he takes care of me. All of the people who abuse narcotics pain killers takes away from the people who really needs them. So doctors are not easily willing to give them out if needed. My case is hurtful and he knows how much pain Im in. I just wish that I was taken care of properly. The bottom line, its all about wether or not you get proper treatment from the doctor. I give him a 0 out of a 10. I give the staff a 10 out of a 10.

DO NOT GO HERE! Your appointment means nothing, youll have to wait in the waiting room for over an hour, then wait another 30+ minutes to see the doctor. When the doctor finally arrived, there was lack of communication due to the language barrier. He was in the room for 2 minutes and left. About 10 minutes later, the nurse came in to tell me I was set to go and that they will give me an antibiotic prescription, I had no idea what medication the doctor was prescribing to me. I was never asked by the nurse or doctor about any allergies that I have. At the check out counter I find out he prescribed an antibiotic that I am allergic to. Not only does the appointment hold no value, neither does your paperwork with your medical history. I am currently back here for a check up. My appointment was at 11am. When I arrived no body vocally greeted me even though there were 3 people in front of me at the front desk. I was only handed a chart to sign in. One hour later at 12:05pm they called me to the front desk to ask if I had an appointment. If you do not need to go to this location, I suggest doing some research before hand and find a clinic with better reviews.

We called ahead for my wifes throat issue and were assured they had the equipment and means to fix the problem (fruit seed lodged in throat for several days). Then we went to the office and had to pay $125 upfront only to wait for over an hour and be told they in fact do not have the necessary equipment and she will need to see a specialist. When inquiring about a refund, the billing and management teams were incredibly rude and insisted there was no cause for refund since she has been "examined"--although she never even saw a doctor and the only reason we went was based on their assurance that they had the necessary equipment. Extremely dissatisfied. Will not be returning to this poorly run facility. EDIT 8/26: The Urgent Care QC people reached out, Im assuming because they read this review, and worked with me to get a refund. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but I was impressed with their efforts to make it right. Changed my rating from 1 to 2 stars. Would love to make it more, but it doesnt change the fact that I had to call 4 departments and leave a bad review for someone to understand that they were in the wrong.

Absolutely awesome! I was flying to Kansas City for business but had to stop my trip once I landed in Dallas. I had been battling a sinus problem for a few days and as it turned out it caused havoc in my ears when landing. Upon my landing my left was completely plugged, my right wasnt much better, and the pressure and pain was horrible. I left the airport and asked the cab to take me the nearest urgent care clinic. They took me to the Concentra on N. MacArthur Blvd. The place was packed but the staff had triaging down to a science. My wait time was made clear to me right from the onset. The forms and insurance paperwork process was very simple. The front desk staff was top notch. Once I was brought back every nurse and PA/MD that I saw were incredibly kind. Everyone listened to my story, my symptoms, and I was honestly shocked by how much of a personal touch I received. After a shot, a prescription, and no flying, 24 hours later and both ears are almost back to normal! This clinic is 100% top notch. Thank you Concentra for helping a sick traveler.
