I went in for a pap smear at the Lewisville location. First, I had waited for more than 2 hours total (one in the waiting room, and another in the patient room). When I stepped outside the door to see where the nurse or practitioner was, I was treated as if I was being impatient and rude for merely asking when I would be seen. The nurse that came in to do the pap smear took no time for me to adjust to her or the speculum--there was no gentleness. She shoved the speculum in and began opening it up, and because this made me tense, she said, "Were not going to do this if you dont relax." and I said, "I promise Im not trying to tense up.". She then proceeded to say, "Im not going to fight you", took out the speculum and said "You can get your pap smear another day." Really? I was just doing this for my annual well-woman exam, as I receive Depo Provera birth control shots from here, and I could honestly care less about getting a pap smear as I dont need one (my husband and I are faithful to only one another and have never had any STDs--it is literally not possible for us to get one, and I know Im healthy), but was here per their request. However, this is exactly how the rest of the day proceeded, after waiting 2 hours, not giving me a chance for my body to adapt--I never went back. Also, like other commenters, Ive experienced calling during regular business hours, to never have anyone answer, pressing "3" to speak to a staff member, and simply getting rerouted to the automated message system again, throughout the day. No one has picked up the phone yet!

I went there to pick up my pills since I didnt have time to get to the denton or plano planned parenthoods. I was there almost half an hour becuase their fax machine was down and they said they couldnt get my records. That was understandable but annoying. When my records came through they said they didnt have my brand of pills and couldnt help me. I use the generic so I asked about the non generic and they told me they were expensive and acted like I couldnt afford them! I finally gave up and left after they kept on saying they were expensive even though I told them I HAD to have them that day and It wasnt a big deal. They acted like I was poor and couldnt afford my pills, then proceeded to treat me as a child (( I am a 23 year od woman.)) and spoke to me as if I was stupid! They treated several other women in the same manner and were very condescending... DO NOT USE THEM!!! GO UP TO DENTON OR DOWN TO PLANO!

Hi. I usually use the Denton Planned Parenthood because I have classes up there. Since I have fewer classes and my boyfriend isnt up there either, Ive been using the one in Lewisville. My experience there has not been awful but it hasnt been great either until today. They arent particularly friendly, either. Today was terrible. I signed in for a pack of pills and it took them an hour and 15 minutes to give them to me. They were super busy which makes a wait understandable. Waiting over an hour is not understandable. Literally, picking up my pills took maybe one minute. Possibly 2. I was so frustrated that I will no longer go to this planned parenthood. I will go out of my way to get to Denton.

ANYONE THERE??? I tried 5 times over a 30 minute period to get through on the phone. Hit 3 to speak to a staff member. It rings 4 times, then asks for patience, then goes straight back to the auto-attendant. Hit 3 again, lather rinse repeat. After 5 times of hitting 3 when prompted, the phone just disconnects. I did this 4 times in all. The hours for the day I called (Friday) said it was open until 3PM CST - I made these calls between 12:30 and 1:15 PM. HELLO HELLO IS ANYONE THERE?

~ HELLO... HELLO... HELLO: I have tried several (and I mean SEVERAL) times to call this office the past couple weeks. I finally faxed a note to them yesterday and still have not received anything back. Hello people... I need my birth control. Guess I will have to be a "walk-in". Not very professional ladies!!!

The nurse practitioner Susan Moss is one of the best nurses that Ive encountered. She makes her patients feel comfortable and welcome. She is very knowledgeable and gives you all the information you need to make a informed decision about your health. I recommend seeing Susan Moss when you go to PP.

Have not answered the phone not once! Here or McKinney they are the closet to me & they dont answer really! Poor customer service already. Did not plan on coming here but they are they only ones available for what I need. Ill take my money & time elsewhere

Needed my mirena IUD out asap I called at 10 said they could get me in at 1130 went during my lunch the whole staff was very nice and quick was out with 15min left on my lunch. I have never felt more comfortable going to a womans clinic.

Receptionist did not tell me about payment or pre lab instructions. They illegally refused to treat me after learning I was transgender. Additionally, there were dead bugs everywhere.
