Most recently are Bichon died. He died at the groomer, we will never know what happened, but dear snowy we love you. Our snowy went to the SPAW in Lewisville TX, connected to the community wellness center. I picked up my dog from Sammy Joe, the groomer. She was the only one at the salon, with lots of unfinished dogs. I walked in and snowy was by the grooming table, she saw that poor dog in a comma, Im sure. At 415 she called me to pick him up, he was in a comma when l arrived 12 min later. I believe it was Malace, Sammy Joe was overwhelmed with pets. Snowy had marks on his neck. What the heck happened. I put snowy in my car, and rubbed on his side and tried to revise him, The groomer at that point put my two cats who where also there in my hot car. It was about 95 degrees. Then she said. " Go to emergency, " l cant leave the salon, she threw my credit card in the car. Then she picked up snowy from my car, and left the cars in the car, I immediately took them out, they would have suffocated. She was careless with the animal on the table as well, l could see she was so frazzled she was not functioning correctly. The vet came, and she said he maybe had blead out, not so, there were no marks or bumps that l saw., and l had full site of him at my car. It was claimed he was alive when l picked him up, he was in a comma , non responsive. snowy had poop in his crate, lots of it, it smelled terrible. I took pictures, l got him out of the crate, in a comma, barely hanging on. he was unresponsive. The grommer Sammy Joe said this. "I cant believe this is happening to me, l have more dogs to groom." What happened, never bring your pet to Sammy Joe, at the SPAW in Lewisville. She had locked the salon, claiming she was alone and afraid. What business locks their doors when open. Snowy was in front of her in a comma, she saw it, and did nothing. Please every one l want your comments.

I have used Community Pet Outreach for many years and felt they had much more reasonable prices than other vets. They dont have a fancy office and I suppose that keeps their rates lower. However, the last time I was there to have my pets teeth cleaned, they got very rude and insisted I furnish proof that my dog was taking a heart worm medication. I have always had my dogs on Revolution but do not purchase it from them. They wanted to see my receipt for purchase of the Revolution and I told them I could bring it in. The vet even came out in the lobby and was getting involved in the conversation with the receptionist about proving my dog was on heart worm meds. I had brought the dog to their office two weeks prior to this appointment for complete blood work before her teeth cleaning so I couldnt understand why they were being so rude about this. While I was waiting for my dog to be taken back for her procedure, I listened to the receptionist and they gave the same hard sell to all the clients trying to get them to buy they heart worm meds. I dont like they way they treated me as if I was lying to the doctor about already having heart worm meds for her. I will never go back there again.

I highly recommend this facility. Not only are they a fraction of the cost of other vets, they do a fantastic job. I had my puppy spayed a few weeks ago. She left with meds and a cone collar included in the price of the surgery. The puppy recovered with absolutely no issues. I can hardly see where the incision is/was. Absolutely outstanding job. This vet also offers Trifexis for heart worm and fleas. To my knowledge my other extremely high priced vet never offered this product. It is a once a month treatment in the heartworm pill that also treats them for ticks and fleas. My dogs are much happier, because they hate the oily stuff put on their back between their shoulders. When I called them to talk to them about the arthritis in my older dogs hips, they told me to bring her in, they took a look and gave me medicine a prescription for dog food with out charging me an arm and a leg for blood work, office visit, etc. I really like this clinic! Its not so pretty in the waiting area as some of the others, but is that really necessary? I think not, and I dont want to pay for that either! They will continue to receive my business and I hope they get yours too!

2 stars because we use them for vaccines and nail trims. they botched my male dogs neutering. left him open afterward. we dropped him off about 830am and picked up when they called, he was ALREADY infected??!!! he was oozing green pus when we got home and checked and saw the wound wasnt stitched. never gave us antibiotics or acknowledge while we were there and we had to go home to find out. called and they were less than caring. had to take him to the REAL VET for fixing up. they were shocked to see my dog like this but not so much when i told them who was responsible. apparently my vet fixes lots of problems caused by community pet. wasnt gonna leave a review on here since i already left one on yelp however yall keep sending me emails to "help yall with a review" soooo here it is. low cost vaccines or nail trims. yes. but dont trust them for anything else.

Last week I finally understood that my cat was pulling her hair out around her tail area not as the result of fleas. She is an indoor cat, but that was still a possibility. She was lethargic and would not let me touch the area around her tail. I was aware of anal gland problems, but just that. I called and suggested such a problem or UTI, got an appointment with Dr. Stubblefield that afternoon. My poor kittie had to have her glands expressed. She also was treated with long lasting steriods to help with inflammation and antibiotics.I found the staff friendly and the doctor caring. The accommodations are modest to keep down costs, I would think. I have 8 rescue cats; Denton TCAP keeps them up to date on lots of health requirements, but they do not do what she needed. The cost of Sidneys care was very reasonable. Thank you, Dr. Stubblefield.

Community Pet Outreach has great hours and provides a reasonable price for your pets needs. I appreciate their quick response in getting an appointment. The facility isnt fancy but it helps them to keeps costs low. I appreciate that. I recently adopted a kitten and got all of her shots as well as having her spayed. I think the Elizabethan collar was overkill - Ive had 5 cats and have never have they come back to me with the collar on. I understand the point of it, but to be told that it needed to stay on for 2 weeks was not realistic. However, Id rather they be on the side of caution than not. All in all, I do recommend Community Pet Outreach and the services they provide.
