DR. RAMIREZ STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! i mean i know every now and then people have bad days but these girls that work in his office are very miserable, unhappy people who really hate their job. My advice to these rude so callled staff is to quit their day job and find something that makes them happy and not the whole city unhappy with their services. i agree with most people that dr. ramirez is great and an awesome dr. and yes, the prices for exams are awesome but not worth the hassle of the front staff"s attitude. i have yet been back to his office nor will i ever go back. i would advise people not to go to this office due to the unprofessionalism. Save your money for a more respectable environment who appreciates our customer service and like the other review states that they should not forget who gives their paychecks. The customers that is. ok moving on to facts just so that you guys think that i am talking jibberish. i payed for a contact exam and a glasses exam. at that moment i decided to go with glasses not contacts so that day i didnt leave with my trial pair of contacts. Months later, (prescription still valid) i asked for the trial pair that the dr. advised for me and the girl over the phone fought with me that they couldnt give me the free pair, and then the story changed to them not having my prescription in stock and yaddi yaddi yaddi long story short i walked in to that office and asked to speak to the doctor and he too agreed with me and in the end i got my way and left with the trial pair of contacts. And to make this story funnier i didnt go back to reorder the contacts and i took my business elsewhere. I hope that people will take this review into consideration. And to add the cherry on top, months later i spoke with another girl who is now my co-worker and she totally agrees with everything about this office! JLS

The last time i was there it was 2 years ago I moved to Dallas but I was going to be in town for the weekend so i called to make an appointment ,the lady that answered was so rude she seem to be annoyed didnt want to explain why dont sell colored contacts for my type of prescription .She put me on hold for 5 minutes I hanged up and called again. I told her that i wanted to speak to someone else i dont know if she was having a bad day or thats the way she treats patients but i didnt want to speak to her.

I understand what other reviewers are saying regarding the staff. If you have any concerns they should be brought up to the Dr. so he can straighten up his staff. Other than that the Dr. in my opinion has been very patient with my questions and concerns. I was able to ask multiple questions regarding my vision and that of my son. What I especially like is that as a walk in i dont have to wait hours to be seen. oh yeah and stop by next door. They have a down to earth type of staff... :)

Was in and out on a Saturday afternoon, with no appointment, in 45 minutes. The dentist was quick and fast, almost resembled an assembly line, which was 100% fine with me. Got my prescription of contacts and glasses and was way more affordable than going to the mall optometrist on the weekend. Definitely reccomend. I seriously found my new go-to place for optics. If you dont have time to be waiting around, then this is the place to go.

Been going here I guess 15 yrs or so ..place is great you can walk in and walk out a hour later with contacts or prescription in hand no crazy or hidden fees. I never remember paying more than 150 for contacts and eye exam. I went to Edinburg vision center they hold nothing to this place. EVC scams you and makes you return several times for a pair of contacts.

Ive been a customer for years there, but its time to LEAVE because the staff is so rude. Customer service means a lot for a business but they definitely dont think so. The doctor is great, but the girls at the front are awful. After being a patient for so long, its sad that I have to find another place just because of the customer service!

The service was fast, the doctor was really nice. The staff on the other hand were not very friendly. They seemed alittle annoyed. One of them gave me attitude. Then on the other side where they sell the frames, the one of the ladies was friendly but really sassy. I think they just need to crack open a book on proper communication!

I called this place to ask for information 12/14/16 and the lady in the optometrist office as well as the one working in the optical side, were very rude! They gave attitude over the phone, that made me not even set foot on that place. These people dont know about first impressions even if its over the phone. SMH -_-)

The Dr. Is great... Its the staff at the front desk that are very rude. I walked in and walked right up to them.. Stood there for a bit... They ignored me.. Finally I said hi... Good afternoon.... they just really seemed annoyed to have customers.
