Yesterday I had to have my cat euthanized. She was 18 yrs old and had gotten sick and very weak and thin. She had stopped eating and was barely walking around. I called around to several different vet clinics in town to get pricing ideas and hours. This one was the only one that wasnt going to charge me a separate price to be present for the procedure, and acted surprised that other clinics were doing so (which was how I felt...). This clinic gave me the lowest price for the procedure as well as the cremation, having the remains returned to me. This was the only clinic offering flexible hours to help me do the procedure without having to miss work. They scheduled me for 7:30 pm the day I called to inquire. They further accommodated me when I went home for lunch to check on my cat and realized she wouldnt make it til then. I called the clinic and asked them if I could please bring her in during my lunch break so that she didnt die alone, in my closet, while I was at work. I wanted to be with her. The Vet was away at lunch but returned early just to help me. When I brought her in they held her while I filled out the paperwork, waited with my cat while I went to withdraw cash because my card wouldnt go through for whatever reason. They were all being very caring and helpful. When I went back for the procedure the Vet was called away to an emergency (which I understood). They were apologetic and quickly brought in someone else to take over. They took their time and didnt rush me at all. They thoroughly explained what would happen, allowed me to mourn, and most importantly made me feel like they actually cared, not like they were pretending to care. Every single step of the way was great. I assured them theyd receive my recommendations. Heres the first one.

Our dog was really sick and we didnt have a vet here in town yet. We called and were able to make an appointment for that same day. We arrived and the clinic was clean and the staff was super friendly. They were very knowledgeable and knew all of the pets by name. We were taken back pretty quickly, and Dr. DeCola was in within 5 minutes. She was SO good with Yoda. He is normal very anti-stranger, and he didnt flinch at all when she touched him. She was patient and loving with him. Asked all the right questions and was very honest with us. She did everything she could to keep costs down for us, and gave us options as far as his care. We were able to take him home that night and she dicussed long term options for him. I would absolutely recommend this clinic and Dr. DeCola to anyone. The staff even walked me through applying for Care Credit so we could afford the necessary treatment. So happy we chose this vet!

I STRONGLY recommend Dr Decola. I was totally lost on how to take care of my precious Chico. I tried everything. I finally brought my dog Chico here to help the situation. The first Dr did not do as well of a thorough check and just said it was a hot spot. He probably just missed the exact issue tho, I understand mistakes are what make us human. However the situation came back the exact same way!! Dr Decola did the second check and more of a thorough check on my dog. She fixed him!!!! It was ALOT more then just a hot spot. I was in terrible shape and could only cry before she figured it out, I honestly thought there was no hope. I endure her animal care instincts. I can honestly say she cares for Chico as much as I do and am so glad to say I will always come to this vet and ask for Dr Decola!

I loved this place!, they Attended to us immediately. The people were nice, friendly, and to the point. I appreciated everything greatly. We ran into a panic during hurricane Harvey and had to evacuate. Our little dog needed surgery and they were there when we needed it. It was such a relief to know they could take care of her. The time it stays open really helps, and the doctor there is amazing. He tells you everything you need to know, and encourages any questions you may want to ask. I highly recommend this place to any pet owners around. They truly care for your needs. If I lived in the area, I would have my dog go there all the time for her pet check ups. I am very pleased with this veterinary.

I cannot say enough how grateful we are for the kind and thorough service that Dr. Doherty and the staff at Creek View provided for our injured goose. We were told that this clinic might be able to help him, as he was shot and very bad off. Dr. Doherty and technicians immediately took him in at a very busy time and tended to him in a very caring way for both the goose and us. He stayed with them for several days, and we were called when the clinic was closed with updates. We were expecting a high bill, but it turned out to be very reasonable. Im so thankful - he is on the mend and we owe it all to this staff. I definitely recommend them with confidence that your animal will be well cared for.

I have been taking my cats to Creekview since we moved to New Braunfels 12 years ago. I have worked with all 3 of the doctors there, and I have never had a bad experience. All 3 are knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to both my pets and me & my family. They were extremely kind when we had to put my daughters cat to sleep due to liver failure. They even sent her a condolences card. I highly recommend this vet clinic. There may be cheaper ones, but at Creekview I know my pets are getting the best care possible and that means the world to me.

Was super easy to make an appointment and the staff was welcoming and friendly! However they do not openly state prices and they will set you up with an appointment without discussing cost even once. So make sure to ask about it. Just like with the prices, advice is on an ask to know basis. I had my cat neutered and was not given any advice on how to care for him afterwards. Four stars because they did a great job and my cat is happy and healthy, and anything they didnt tell me I could easily ask about or Google.

I spent time price shopping over the phone with numerous clinics in the area and chose this one based on the fee I was quoted. The actual fee was more than double the price they quoted over the phone. One of the vets did talk to me regarding my surprise bill, but basically said it is what it is. I will never take an animal to this clinic again. It may be beneficial to get the quote in writing before taking an animal to this clinic. I guess I fell for the bait and switch.

Weve always enjoyed our visits. I absolutely LOVE the way my pets are treated as friends. The staff seems to love working there. Just a pleasant environment all around. I will admit that the cost is sometimes more than what was quoted, but only because addition treatment was advised during the examination. If you want to save a little money, go somewhere else. If you want the best for your critter, go to Creek View.
