I normally do not do reviews but from my experience with this facility I feel like I need to. I have a 15 year old female rat terrier. Last evening i noticed an open wound on her front leg so deep her muscle was visable with no bleeding. It was past vet hours so all i could do was irrigate it with half peroxide/water and wrap it up with a pressure gauze. Gave her a pain pill and the next morning called this facility and told me to come in without an appointment. Brought her in at 9am and was able to get her wound sutured before 12pm despite Dr. Williams having 7 other surgeries that day. Around 230pm picked her up and brought her home. Within 15 mins of giving the prescribed meds to her she started to have an allergic reaction. I called back they told me to bring her in right away. I remember as soon as i got off the phone and walked to my car with my Emmy in my arms and i noticed her lips started to swell. I panicked and took off in my car down the street. I walked through the Door and Jessica once again greeted me with a smile and all my anxiety disappeared. They immediately took Emmy to get looked at and administered a benadryl shot. Told me to pick her up in an hour because they wanted to monitor her in case the benadryl did not work. This was my first time using this facilty and have never felt like i was in good hands more than any other place than at Animal Medical center.

I also, am not one to write reviews unless the level of service is so good that I would feel terrible if I did not. I have been to two different vets in town and have never received this level of excellent service and competitive pricing. I went by the other day just to see how much a dental cleaning for my pup was and I was blown away not only by the price (which was half of what my vet near HD wanted to charge) but by the way I was treated and the way I saw other clients being treated. Very welcoming waiting area with a Keurig! So.... a day later I switched, scheduled the teeth cleaning and only 2 business days later my pup got in an out and is home chillen with good breath and healthy teeth! Try to schedule that anywhere else and you could wait months. During and after the procedure I was called by the techs and the Dr. Williams so that I would know what was going on and if I needed anything else while my pup was under, since he noticed some skin tags (Which I had always wanted to remove) and a cut on my pups nose that has needed attention for some time. All said and done, teeth cleaned, tags removed, antibiotics and still under $400! My old vet was over 400$ just for the cleaning and not near the level of attention, care and service. I highly recommend this clinic and am a Raving Fan!

Im so happy I found this place. I was referred here from the NB emergency pet clinic after I noticed my labs stomach swollen and hard, her not eating even treats, not able to keep water down, and weezing trying to breathe. I took her to the ER at midnight but the next day (during the week) they are closed. I called a few places - one telling me they dont accept new patients even though this was an emergency situation - and the only other option for her was Stone Oak area in San Antonio. AMC of Nb said bring her in right away! While filling out her paperwork the ER person was there and recognized my dog too, saying they were also emailing her results from the night before. My dog is still there, its 2:30pm and they have called me 2x so far to update me with not only her recovery, but also updating me on my bill. Sounds like she has a heart problem. Also, the doctor came out, sat with me and discussed everything I could describe, where he would start, etc. Very nice man. I plan to bring my dog & cat (who has hyperthyroidism) here from now on so all their records will be at this place in case of another emergency!!!

Over the past three years, Dr. Williams has always cared for my 5 dogs with great attention to detail and compassion to each one of them. We have brought our animals to many vets over the years, but I can truthfully say that Dr. Williams is the absolute best! I was happy to hear that he decided to open up his own practice, and his facility is so well planned and pet friendly. The staff is organized and very welcoming -starting with Jessica at the front desk to the techs caring for the animals. You can be assured that your pet will be well cared for here!

Im from League City, Tx and was staying in New Braunfels because of Harvey. My little Bischon Frize was sick and I had no clue when I could get him to cat with all the flooding we are having. They saw him 30 minutes after I called and then after running tests, blood work, medication and a bag of food, they wouldnt let me pay. They donated all their services to help us. Dr. Williams saved our Yorkies life when he was having seizures and we could not figure out why. He had a sonogram done and found the problem with his liver shunt. That was several years ago and our little fella is now healthy and doing great. He did have to have surgery, but has not had another seizure since. Also want to say that Jessica is the best. Thanks to Dr. Williams we have two very healthy Yorkies that are thriving. A very Happy Momma.

Dr Williams is great. He actually knows all my pets and will inquire about the others when I bring one in. He takes the time to listen not just rush you in and out. Hes caught several things I did not know was a problem just listening to me complain about their habits what I throught was normal was not and we caught problems early
