I went to star for à gallbladder surgery. My surgeons staff scheduled it there. The location is convenient, easy to find. Check in staff was very friendly. Pre-op nurses were also friendly and helpful when answering questions, thats why I am giving this place 3 stars. Unfortunately they do not appear to be very experienced with the ivy needles. They poked me on the vein on the side of my arm which was a first to me, but very painful location. I was left with a huge painful bruise from this. (Picture attached) Post operation was the worst. There was a mean nurse that woke me up and was pretty much kicking me out of there. Im not sure if people are usually awake and ready to go, but I had barely opened my eyes. She kept rushing me to get up and go home when I hadnt even seen my family yet. I had to ask her to please give me 30 minutes to wake up fully before leaving and she said "you need more time? Fine" walked away. I was very confused why they took forever to bring my family back to be with me. I had to ask for them three times. I was also told in pre-op I would be getting some juie and jello before leaving to make sure I didnt leave on an empty stomach. The mean post-op nurse brought me some dry crackers and a box of cranberry juice after my husband almost begged her for something for me to drink since I was so thirsty. Overall I wouldnt go back to this location unless my doctor really wanted to see me there.

Just had a 3 day stay at Star Medical Center for C5-C6-C7 pinched nerve repair. it was a very gratifying experience as all staff members were there for the comfort, consideration and well being of the patient (me). They monitored my vitals on a routine basis, made adjustments in medications with close contact with the Doctor to make sure I was comfortable and on proper path to be released as soon as possible. If you have to have surgery, you should look to this facility for the recovery as from the private chefs that make each of your meals to the wonderful nurses that make sure you are progressing in your recovery as you should.

Great treatment for my 13 year old daughter. Symptoms pointed to appendicitis, but a thorough exam and tests found only a stomach virus. All staff was professional and efficient. Advised of charge prior to treatment. Cheaper than primary care doctor visit since I hadnt met deductible for year, and this included full blood work, urinalysis and xray (maybe ultrsound?). Was pleased with diagnosis, treatment and fees.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Star Medical Surgery Center. The registration team was waiting on me when I arrived at the facility, greeted me and had me all completely registered within a few minutes. The facility is clean and inviting. The staff were ALL fantastic! I have been a registered nurse for 18 years and this place impressed me!!! Thank you, Star Medical, for your commitment to quality!!!

I had the BEST experience ever! From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out, the staff was PHENOMENAL! They are all very friendly and very caring. Wonderful Facility, very professional, friendly and caring. After my husbands surgery I had to pick up my 4 year old and 1 year old to bring with me. As we were waiting and getting information to leave the nurses were kind enough to keep our very curious and active children busy :) Great Place!
