Light-Matter Matters

At my first visit, I was mostly taken care by the corteous technician Mark that explained me every single exam, and later by Dr Karen Pressburger. After making my glasses according to the prescription I received at Focus on Eyes, I had to return to cross-check the prescription due to headache and distortion of image. I have to confess to be a bit disappointed to be called in with more than 30 minutes of delay from the time of appointment. The technician just checked my view at my different glasses. Never cross-checked if the glass was made according to the prescription they gave. Besides that, I really got disappointed when I overheard the way doctor and other technician talk about customer once they think they are not been heard. They decided to keep me at my old prescription. At least, this visit I had not to pay. Definitely, I will visit another doctor to cross-check again and to receive a more respectful and professional treatment.

I used to go to this eye doctor but then moved. It had been 2 years since I visited with them. I had something going on with my eye. When I called and asked when they could see me they said come on in!! After they did some tests they saw I need other medical attention for my eye. They got me an appointment with the perfect place AND helped me with insurance struggles (I did not have my card on me)! They helped me get a better check on my eye and if they hadnt acted so quickly and been so helpful i wouldnt have received the proper medication I needed to have! Thank you so much to everyone that helped me. Dr. Pressburger and the other woman and gentleman that where there as well. My eye is already feeling better and its only been 1 day since I have been back home (Austin). I will highly recommend Focus On Eyes to any of my friends or family that need a new eye doctor or are considering switching!

I have been wearing glasses or contacts for almost 20 years now. After moving to Dallas, I had to select a new Optometrist, and a friend referred me to Dr. Pressburger. I have never had a more thorough and carefully thought out examination and prescription before. Dr. Pressburger and her staff took great pains to match the exact correct brand and style of contacts to my lifestyle and daily needs, and Ive never had a better fit or clearer vision. Youre doing yourself a disservice if your Optometrist isnt as good as Dr. Pressburger.

The team at Focus on Eyes is really great. Dr. P does a very thorough exam and is very helpful. Dawn is amazing at helping you pick a frame that fits your face. She is delightful and professional. Mark is always kind and helpful as well. Ive gone to FOE for many years. Highly recommend them for eye exams and eyewear. Quality work on the frames/lenses. Oh, and great quarterly sales! And they take insurance.

Dr. Pressburger has been my optometrist for over 10 years. Because she found a retinal tear on a dilated eye exam, which others might have missed, I was able to get to an opthalmologist before it became a retinal detachment. She is always thorough and courteous, as is the staff at Focus on Eyes. Highly, highly recommend.

Excellent!! Dr. Pressburger is extremely thorough with all her examinations and has a very professional staff. She takes her time with each person. When I had an "eye" scare, she called the cornea specialist and they fit me right in. I drive over 40 miles to see her. Thank you.
