I made an appointment over the phone and I told the receptionist my request and what Id hope to accomplish during my visit. However, when I arrived the pregnant girl at the front desk was on her phone and had a sarcastic attitude about my visit. She kept telling me what I had done during my last visit and insisted I buy nexgard for my nursing dog without seeing the vet. I told her I would rather speak to him about it and she laughed and went back to being unprofessional on her phone. She even had her phone out leaning back in her chair in front of the vet. This girl has no respect for the man she works for or the customers. After speaking with the vet I found out my dog could not take nexgard while nursing but this girl on her phone the whole time tried to make me buy it without seeing the vet. Thats how peoples animals get sick, taking advise from the receptionist who is using her phone and taking advantage of being pregnant at work. The only reason I gave two stars was because of the vet but at some point he will have to let the pregnant girl know how to conduct herself in front of customers.

Honestly Im am so very thankful for Ace. My dog had a really bad ear infection. My boyfriend and I arent in the best financial place right now. So I was up all night googling vets to see who would be open on a Sunday and would be affordable enough for us. Only a handful were open and not cheap either. I heard Becker was loads of money to even see your pets. Then at 4 am I found Ace and read the reviews. And called right when it turned 9. They said the first consultation would be free and I had 150$. So I was like okay we will go and see what medicine he would need. And I got everything he needed and more for a little over 70$. I almost had a heart attack. Not only that but the staff and the doctor were so very nice and caring. This will be our vet for years to come. As long as you will have us. Thank you so very much to the staff and everyone who is included.

Amazing vet. We were searching for a vet that was open on a Sunday and found this place. Our dog was sick and we started to worry so we took him here. First off, their prices are amazing, the vet doesnt go over the top with his diagnosis so you dont end up paying for extras like at most vets. Secondly, they are very straight to the point. If you want the pampered pet experience, then maybe this isnt the place for you. Dont get me wrong, they treat you pet with total respect and are very friendly, but they arent there to make your pet feel like it lives on a throne, they are there to get them well. I will 100% bring my dogs here whenever they need it.

Dr. Lan will now be my animals regular vet. Hes awesome, and good at what he does and is very affordable! Great place to take your pets for minor illnesses and regular checkups, shots and all that. Its a small office, nothing extravagant... But that isnt something I personally care about. He and his staff are very friendly, answers any questions you have and you dont feel rushed. Ive been to vets where you see the doctor for 2 mins and then everything else is relayed by a tech. He actually spends time. He cleaned my dogs ears and clipped her nails himself. I highly recommend him. And hes open on Saturday and Sunday!

I love that they have prices for most regular services (vaccinations, worming, various tests, exams, spay/neuter, etc...) as well as flea&tick and heartworm meds listed plainly on their website. My only caveat is in the emergency care dept. When my 7mo rottie pup needed abdominal xrays for a possible blockage I was told not to bother coming in, and that instead I should take him to the emergency clinic they partner with since they dont have the equipment for xray or major surgery. I still highly recommend them for routine care and still take my pup as well as my 3 cats to them for annuals/vac/and flea meds.

My dogs and cats were all new patients. My dogs previous vet priced himself out of my budget so I had to find another vet. Dr. Lan is the real deal. Hes no-nonsense, very thorough & honest. Hes a doctor not a salesman and explained to me the most effective, appropriate, timely & economical treatment for my animal companions. He had all my dogs and cats meds in stock. Hes a great listener and answered all my Qs. I look forward to many years of having my dogs and cats treated by Dr. Lan. Took my dog here when he got sick on the weekend. It was semi urgent but not emergency vet level. He was one of the few places open on a Sunday. I called the second they opened and Dr. Lan answered the phone! He saw my dog that morning! They were all amazing with my dog who tends to be aggressive at vets and didnt run a boatload of useless tests. He did everything needed and nothing more. He made me comfortable with the while experience. Our dog is happy and healthy now. We will also be boarding him here this Christmas because they are the only ones I will trust with our baby.

I could not say enough about this place Im not going to mention what vet I took my dog to but a week later my dog was still sick I bought him here to Ace and they hit it on point what was wrong with my dog. gave me antibiotics my dogs doing well Im afraid my dog would have gotten sick if I would have would just waited and depended on the other vet very disappointed in that but highly recommend Ace friendly staff everyone is great there I love them shine on Ace

There is not a single thing to complain about Dr. Lans clinic and the staff. The moment you walk in you feel comfortable that you and your dog will be treated good. The staff is friendly and willing to help, Dr. Lan is there to provide the best vet service, answer your questions, and give you some recommendations. Overall great service and I feel happy that I found an amazing vet in San Antonio.

Hands down the best vets office in San Antonio. The veterinarian and the staff are very caring and compassionate the front desk clerk is always very helpful and attentive. My furbabies are family and I do not trust just anybody with my family. If youre looking for a wonderful vet who truly cares about his patients and is not all about the money then you have to go see Dr. Lan.

First of all a free initial exam. Prompt service. Medications available the next day. From my point of view, very practical. Intuitive Veterinarian; noted a slight limp in my Dog which helped lead to a serious diagnosis. I felt he saved my beagles life. Susie Q has a chance for a longer life. I have taken both of my dogs in for treatment at Ace Vet. The prices are very very reasonable and the veterinarian cares for the animals he sees. I will drive all the way across town to take my pups to Ace Vet. Thank you Mr. Lan for being wonderful and your staff for always being friendly!
